I have been told, very good, should be even better soon, another 15 satellites up this morning.

Bit expensive and I gag at making Elon Musk any more money so we will not be using it.

Hi,
If you are an Internet user of any kind, it will blow you away with ease of use and capabilities.
On Nullabor east of Eucla, with no Telstra service available, Starlink mbps was 164 - 5 times faster than our NBN at home. We have used it from Nullabor to Nullagine and everywhere in between. Slowest speed recorded was 71 mbps (and that was only for a short time) and fastest was 230.
Unlimited Internet, data, streaming, phone calls etc.
You will, however, need an inverter (min 250w) to run it as it requires 240v.
It is also relatively power hungry and can use up to 4.4 amps per hour. If left on for 24hrs when camping, that requires some solid recharging
Not that expensive at $175 per month when you consider it can be paused at any time and no further cost until you unpause it.
Last C’van Park we visited, I went for a walk around and counted 8 X starlink dishes.
I think the deal on the hardware of $199 (normally$450) is still available but closing in near future.

Thank you both seems to be the way if you need internet while camping. Wife is still working and has been hard with Telstra even in some major towns.

Our internet with them in Adelaide is total crap. Cheers Robert

I'm seeing that Skymuster is advertising some cheap deals. They must realize the writing is on the wall and I think people are leaving in droves.

A guy at work has it, swears by it.

Jon over 10,000 have left never was any good for the people it was suppose to help.

Hi Jon,
I’m a dinosaur and it took me about 10 minutes from unpacking to operation.
In fact, it took about 3 times as long to get it back in the box later!!
Just one thing to be aware of is that they sometimes slip into the heat mode (will show up on the app) which is for use in snow etc conditions. Easy to change. However, in heat mode, it does use considerably more power.

All set up and working well, constant internet in the van were Telstra drops out all the time.

Set up dish on the van and doing a extender network for the house. Have installed one router inside so far which has given operational strenth of single down the other end of the house.

Any on on Starlink and operating a TELSTRA TV box, have tried to connect to the Starlink network, Telstra recognises the network but not the pass word. This is to operat the overhead projector in the lounge. Any help there appreciated.
