Dot, in NSW all the Drs have to do is fill a form on the computer and the results are in for the tests.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, the dog next door was a Rottweiler not a Doberman, I have never had anything to do with Dobermans. Enjoy visiting the puppies.
My sister bought a German Shepherd puppy when she started work, called him Nero he grew into a beautiful gentle dog but because he was so big people were scared of him.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, looks like a monthly appointment with no cost would be great. Takes a minimum of three weeks just to get a booking to see my doc.xxxx
Have had lovely days in Coonamble. Did the op shop run yesterday and today went up to the crystal castle. Been a long time since we last visited. The place feels so much cleaner and the new owner is a lovely lady, didn't see anything that I had to buy tho. We had a bit of a touristy drive around town and noticed how well kept most of the homes are and not many people out wandering around.
Tomorrow it will be off to Gilgandra for a couple more days before we hit Dubbo. That will be interesting.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Pic 1 & 3 is my pick of the litter, a chubby boy.
Pic #2 is the litter cuddled up in a ball after their feed
Pic #4 is the daddy and as you can see he was happy to see me

Mum was outside having her boob free time.
The owner was telling us of her horror run with city vets cost of $18k Yep $18k
The boy dog had a case of bloat, she raced to her usual vet ----- They don't do that surgery go to abc off she went and they were closing up go to def Emergency specialist vet CASH UP FRONT or they will put dog down $10k. He stayed in 2 days , she then crated him so he couldn't jump etc but came home for lunch next day and the house looked like a slaughter house, blood everywhere and the staples had come undone and the dogs guts were part out, had to get a friend to help get him to the vet again, another $8k please. They should not of used staples and this time he had to be sutured. She is taking the vet to court and she will win this one. Incompetence for sure.
Anyway the lady did all the right things when we got there, asked us to take our shoes off before going inside and had hand sanitizer before going into the puppies room (her bedroom) Her house has cameras everywhere and she also sees them on her ph while she is at work. Didn;t have those things when my girl had her babies but I went home every lunch time to check on them all. Nothing more to say apart from I want one again. BOB's on now. Petels I get sent the Heavy vehicle form yearly via post and fill 99% in myself but the Dr has to do the eye test and general check over. Medicare covers normal care license. G's tummy is all ok now. Looking at 24 degs tomorrow . Stay safe everyone x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
When are you taking delivery of the puppy Dot?
Such a cutie xxxx
We did the long drive to Gilgandra , took us all of an hour. As the caravan park does not allow checkins before noon, we drove around the town. Well that was a whole twenty seconds. Not a lot of shops. We then did the information centre and museum. That was interesting. They have two rooms set aside for the cooee march (which apparently started from Gilgandra). The time was spent wisely and we checked in at noon. As soon as we hav=d the van unhitched and power turned on, we left the van and went looking for lunch.
Had a lovely steak hamburger (they called it a steak sandwich) with three slices of crispy bacon and a lovely tender steak. Then went to the iga for some milk and a fathers day treat. He found a chocolate mud cake that was marked down, so I found some strawberries and cream to go with it. We had a slice each for dinner tonight. Was a sinful dinner, but he enjoyed the spoiling treat.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
I was thinking the same thing about the puppy too, Deborah.
Which way are you heading after you are finished in Dubbo. There's lots of interesting places around there.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Well Dot, when's puppy coming into your life? xxx
Petels, that could be interesting. Iga seems like a fairly new building, but we will go do a reccy tomorrow and let you know.
We did the op shop, that was a bit sad. So we came back to the van and did the housework. Swept and mopped the whole sixteen feet of floor.
After that physical activity we both had a rest.
Agreed David, we have done some lovely trips around here, sadly we have two days to get home and start to prepare for more travels. Each week in September, we will be home for only two days. Don't ask, it will all be apparent as the month goes on.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
No puppies guys, for a start I would not pay the many thousands they are now asking for a dog, my last Dobe came from a shelter here and I donated $50 for him, he was one of the best dogs I have ever had.
I had the Vit D ( 1ml) on a piece of toast but next month I will just squirt in down the shute and be done with it, Couldn't get the dry toast down so had to drink it down . Another month till the next dose. You are doing some ks David, how is the MH performing for you? Was the op shop a small one Deborah? Got some tomatoes from Coles and supposedly vine ripened, they are dam awful compared to the beauties I grew last year, NO taste, the skins are so thick you need sharpened teeth to eat them and even when fried the skin is still tough.
No BOB's tonight it is their rest day. Have just been handed a bowl of yummy custard topped with bananas so I shall say goodnight everyone x
Goodnight Chuck x
Get well all the sickies and travel safe to those on the roads.
