Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!
Morning all.
I spent the day screwing around all the main roofing sheets are up, yesterday was spent doing all the screws in the frame almost finished...they were put together on the ground as the plan said, then stood up into position...so only one side was done...but now with the iron on I can do the other side., Once they are done I wont need the truck.
I ran out of the supplied screws so now using my own...lucky I have about 500 of them.
I don't think I would attempt doing such a large job by myself again
But its now Sunday bacon and eggs for us
Keep safe
Bernie.
Good morning All. A coolish 13* with clear blue sky, no dew so a good day to do some mowing. I spent yesterday sorting out Sean's hot water system power problem and removing all the stuffing from his vacuum cleaner.
Sean's wife, Beth, was taken to hospital by ambulance on Thursday evening due to a serious case of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome exacerbated by Long Covid. She has been unable to get out of bed or feed herself for the last 3 months so we are hoping she can get some improvement. It is also creating a strain on Sean so Julie has been providing him and Beth with meals.

Good morning everyone, we are back in Perth now and will get on a plane a bit later and head back east.
Our trip is almost over now, I've run out of superlatives for how good it has been.
George, I hope your DiL can get some help to recover from the CFS and the long covid. There is a lot of new research in both those areas now.
Bernie, enjoy your bacon and eggs. Don't forget the pics when you get the shed done.
Jon, how's the gearbox rebuild going, have all the new bits turned up yet?
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers

"tanks" here---
Ron (Noggins) expect a bit of a backlash towards your latest posting. I agree with your posted revelation.
One World Government Socialist or Communist has been on the cards for ages,
I remember, way back to the early days of the 50;s when the K.G.B. agents made an attempt to remove the
Russian Diplomats' wife from Australia by force to stop him deflecting.
Low cloud cover and minuscular sunshine otherwise nothing new in my part of the jungle ---so, Good Morning dear friends.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
Morning all.
I expect your home now Dave. Didn't see Jon on yesterday...missing in action, or gearbox
My day was much the same as the others, still screwing
I've started on the edge bits...good thing I still have the truck...makes life easier
Carol off to bingo today...I will see what I get up to...not allowed to climb when she's not home
Keep safe.
Bernie.
Good morning everyone. We are home safe on the Gold Coast. Got in late last night. Bandit sure was happy to see us. He's been staying at Terrie's daughter place, just around the corner. Not to unpack everything.
The bag xray machine at the airport was really interested in a rock sample that I had picked up of a beach somewhere up north. Once they could see it wasn't an explosive the concerns faded.
It's amazing how much dust settles in a house when nobody home. We will be doing a bit of cleaning today.
I hope all the sickies are on the way back to full health.
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers

Morning everyone.
I didn't do anything with the shed ysterday...to bloody windy
Today one of my neighbors is having two trees cut down, and has asked me to take as much of the timber as I want...so that's todays agender.
Carol didn't win
Keep safe.
Bernie.
Good morning everyone. Its a bright sunny morning here on the GC. Did a bit of unpacking and washing yesty. And walking the dog. Probably do the same today.
Bernie, don't overdo the heavy lifting, what you don't get today will still be there tomorrow.
Have a top day everybody, safe travels.
Cheers

Dave, Dottie told Margaret that you and Terrie were boarding the Murray Princess out of Mannum and we were going to have a catch up when you docked .... so we bought a 1tr bottle of Dubliner honeycomb whiskey for the occasion ..... then read yesterday you and Terrie were back on the Gold Coast ..... so Margaret helped my consume a large portion of it last night ...... I'm only seeing things without the haze this evening, so the choice was Bundy Tropical with lemon, lime and soda because I don't think there are enough brain cells left to kill of the slower moving ones
