Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

I'm guessing there must be dancing in the streets in Vic at the moment with the announcement Dan is quitting as premier of Victoria .... not sure if that means he is quitting politics all together, but I expect that is the case .... I wonder if any of them believe things will be better when he's no longer holding the top job ......

Good morning.
Another relaxing day...did get the veg garden finished and gave next door a hand for half hour or so...he is refurbishing a box trailer and needed a hand to turn it back up as apposed to not being the right way up :D :D
I haven't any plans for today as yet....might fool around in the motorhome.
We will be off for a trip in a few weeks time. cuppla things to do before IE: two girls birthdays plus voting...we don't postal vote we go and vote in person.
Because it's now under cover the solar don't work as everyone would know...but the victron controller is keeping a eye on things ;) ;)
If I get up to any thing today...it will be Carol's fault
Keep safe
Bernie.

Morning again...not many posts here at the moment.
As promised I got up to very little yesterday. I did and still fooling around in the motorhome.
The wiring was done before they clad the inside...makes for a arshole of a job trying to do stuff. Because they put a cut of switch in the power box...there is NO 12 volt wire at the dash...unless said switch is on...which I don't want because then most of the dash is lit during the nite  serving no purpose. The biggest culprit is the radio head set thingy...no bloody off switch  The 12V fridge is not on this system and is fed from the opposite side of the bus, I'm trying to use that wiring to get the light in the dunny working without all the other crap.
BUT I cant find the wiring for the dunny...it's hidden away behind all the cupboards and stuff
It's starting to do my head in
Any way keep safe and enjoy your day.
Bernie.

I was gunna ring yu but as there's not many posts on 'ere I thought I'd do one!!
Was worried when I read that "starting to do my head in" ........ Thought Carol might have dunked your 'ead in said dunny?

OK, I faced a similar problem when I had Norman's rocket. (with the radio)
There was one wire that MUST always have power on to the radio or it'll forget the stations that you pre-program.
Having said that ..... From memory you have a 24V bus? So there will always be a live wire to the key?
Run a link from that to a converter 24v to 12v. Cheap & easy.
I have a BIG one on the houseboat but you'll only need a baby one for the radio.
An example here.

Thanks for that link Bruce. I need one of those reducers for the Winny to wire the radio, UHF and reverse camera so it all runs of the switch.

Bernie, did you get any rain this arvo, or did elsewhere live up to its name?
The BoM rain map looked pretty interesting this arvo.

So, now rain elsewhere. That's a bit of a bugger Bernie.
About 5mm on the Southern Downs. Big storm at home, but will have to wait til Monday to find out how big, bad, or loud, when we get home. We're off to the skids at Toowoomba tomoz, I hope.
Cheers
