Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

It's a warm on today in Mannum, the guestimation BoM made was first 31*, then 32*, at the moment 33* and it's already 33.6, so their guestimator seems to reset each time

Trying to regas the air con in the guest room, where my 'pooter is, but I think it has a locked rotor, probably hasn't be run in a very long time ...... it hums for a few secs then just the fan running, then the same thing repeats ......

The field ballet is on today, no idea if there is anything else on tv and the pub would be packed with ballet fans I'm guessing .... too hot outside to work on any of the vehicles, at least until the body gets accustomed to the warm again, we haven't had a proper warm for a while .... the river looks like someone threw a sponge in it or someone forgot to take off the big boy nappy pants, if the flood hadn't dumped so much fine mud on the bottom you could walk across our bit to the main river bank, but by about three steps in you'd sink to the knees or worse and end up stuck there ... so a swim in the big pond out front looks to be a no go either .....

Good arvo all. Had a break, the bloody White Pussy attacked but OK now. I reckon I got Peed off because of not being able to do anything. Saw surgeon last week re foot and so far so good and can now walk for a while but not over do things. Currently watching the Grand final and hoping the lions win, hate the pies. Beautiful day once again so I shall be getting out there for some warm rays. Take care every one .

Glad to hear that you're back, Dot. I agree about the footy, you either barrack for Collingwood, or the team playing them.
Cheers

Good Sunday morning everyone.
Didn't do a lot yesterday, cleaned up my mess in the motorhome. Carol will do a better job next week :D
Put some fixings on the outside rear end to hold a sorta privacy screen rear of bus, tried out the side screen for the awning, it's about a foot longer than needed...but will stay as is.
Other than that we both had a lazy day, more today if I can help it.

Conundrum...Years back before most of you were born :D :D I lived for a while in Traralgon Vic. and sorta barracked for Collinwood...But...we moved to Qld and sorta barracked for the Brisbane Lions So I had a win win chance of one of my clubs winning the Grand final ;) ;)
Now today same thing....we used to live near Penrith when we lived in NSW's...But...we now and have for 40+ years lived in Qld...SO the Bronco's became the main team...I think I'm also on a winner today
Any way nuff of that, It's Sunday bacon and eggs in down town Degilbo :D ;)
Didn't have to change the clock Dot :P
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. Its clock fiddlers morning in some of Australia today, or just bacon and egg day elsewhere.
Beautiful sunny morning here in Toowoomba after a cool and windy evening.
Enjoy the other footy grand final today, if you follow that code.
Get well soon all those on the sick list. Safe travels all those out and about.
Cheers

Well, I watched the field ballet yesterday, from the "second quarter"? and it was entertaining, wanted the Qld mob to win simply because the game is supposed to be Australian, not Victorian, so it needed to get over itself and have the big games played outside Victoria, and it looked like the Qld mob were a bit more accurate with their kicking ... well, until it really counted towards the end, then they beat themselves ..... still can't get my head around the player being outside the white lines but it not being called out, and sometimes a handball pass being counted as a "mark"? I thought it had to come off the boot and be a clean catch ..... the players pushing each other ... seriously .... if that happened in today's grand final where the tough boys play, half the game would be brawls where every member of both teams got involved in an all in knock down and drag out contest .... both teams would have to be sent off  Head high tackles? seriously, I didn't see a "coat hanger" tackle in the whole game .... anyway, the women's grand final is on at 3pm'ish, or earlier if you are in WA, not sure how many of the players in the AFL grand final would still be on their feet playing against those girls, they play hard ..... When the commentators mention the age of some of the players, girls 17, 18 and 19 yrs old slamming into the opposition and getting up to play like nothing happened, even at that age, I doubt I wouldn't have been back on my feet in anything under an hr

Good morning everyone. Its a beautiful sunny morning up here at Toowoomba. Wasnt too windy last night and it didn't get too cold, so we had a wonderful evening at the speedway. Now to pack up and head home. I'm hoping the traffic isn't too ordinary today. But you never know with a long weekend.
Not much else to report today. Safe travels everybody.
Cheers

Good morning 19c, 24c maximum prediction, the lake is calm, y’day the lads were riding in on their kayaks on huge waves, certainly loved the activity, it was blowing a gale. :D

One more week of school holidays in NSW.

The bowls pennants finish next week, we play Gosford City at Gosford & Umina at home, Bateau Bay is on 28.5, Umina 28 & we are on 25.5, 3 behind the leaders, we’re still in with a chance, need to win both games, whatever will be will be.

Dental appointment on Wednesday, a piece of enamel has broken of a tooth making it difficult to eat & especially drink anything hot or cold without causing it to ache, not good.

Glad that you’re back on deck Dot, always very quite when you’re not posting, hope you’re fully mobile & feeling good soon.
Shirley & Bruce.
