Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Dot, agreed. What happens between the sheets or in the bedroom stays there. I just don't want to know anymore. xxxx

Shirley, you are still our champion. Keep up shining those new balls and the windy weather was just not at all pleasant, so you don't need feel that you lost. The weather gods were just being unkind. xxx

Have you all listened carefully to the yes vote ads where children are asking for better living conditions etc? The fact that they have already put that crap on the ad, shows the gov is well aware of these problems and are doing all that is possible to give them a fair go. Give them a good edumication, is only possible when they actually come to school and do put in some effort to learn. Sorry, end of rant.

At Port Macquarie, this last weekend, I had an indigenous person have a go at me for making earrings and pendants with their colours on them. She ranted about me getting permission to make them. I was a bit peeved at that sort of behaviour, but informed her anyway that as close aboriginal friends had asked me to make them, I assumed that was permission enough. Bitty female backed off well and truly, but she didn't buy any of my tastefully designed indigenous artworks!

We have totally cleared out the van and put it back away for it to have a short rest. We might even find time to wash it. Maybe not. The mud is probably holding it together. We had some really good heavy rain last night. First real rain in ages. So today we did the water check on the the inside of the van and all seems to be dry and clean.

That was a really big Dot. Banana caramel pie sounds super yummo xxxx

Been trying to get back to the shed to replace some stock. Yesterday, I started with three plates shapes in the kiln. Only one was acceptable, so two went back in with lots of extra bits added. Then I added a couple of newies on two more shelves, so tomorrow, there should be some ready to slump into plate shapes. I am doing the construction parts first for a few loads then the molding to shape will start up.

I also spent a few hours sorting out the tax and getting it ready to take to our taxman. PITA, but it's done anyway. We have an appointment for next week, so it will be done and sorted soon. I need his knowledge about the maximum we can charge for rent and not end up having to pay taxes. Seeing as they wont give us a pension, I need to get my share from somewhere.

Did today become a resting day Dot? Would have been one for me if that much running around was involved. xxxx

You got that George. We don't often complain about not getting the pension, but just sometimes a few perks would be helpful. Check your painters quotes. We learnt that some painters refuse to do eaves without scaffolding. The was ok for the side that is double story, but the front is only single story and we had to have scaff around it too. Remember when painters used ladders? Apparently not safe anymore. Hope your quotes work out.

Today was really exciting for me. We left home at sparrow fart to drive to the big smoke, to collect a new to me, kiln. I have been looking for a while to get one that can work a few more pieces at one time or to do some bigger things for myself. We can't really transport larger pieces and the cry factor is too big to even try.

Kiln is now in the boot of the patrol, waiting for me to sort out some room in the shed for it to have a proper home. Our daughter came to help with the loading, as these things weigh a lot and are awkward to carry. I carried a stack of instruction manuals and bits n pieces, that was enough.

After loading the beasty, we had a lovely lunch with our daughter and family at her tiny home and spent some time with our granddaughter, which was precious. I suspect that tomorrow will be spent clearing out the space to install the beasty and to try to come to grips with the firing controls. Of course the controls are nothing like the ones that I am used to using, so a lot more reading of the very thick manual and lots of trial end error with scraps and/or old empty bottles.

I think I may of found my physio a little house for her just down the road from us :D She is coming up next Saturday for inspection but I think it will suit her. Spoke to my NZ mate and can't believe her bro is trying to squash her, he apparently got a land valuer to go to the area he squatted on to do a valuation of the land in 2021. That land was sold so how can that be done with no authority of the owner??? Now he is trying to put a claim on the 10 acres she owns??? His lawyer did say he would bankrupt Sue, Teleconference tomorrow. The law in NZ is just as corrupt as here. This case has been going on now for 5 years.?? Anyway today was spent watching the NZ boys win the big race again, sorry fordies (Not)
G sprayed the lawn again, so much crap starting to grow through this year. More sun shine today after a cold night. Now I wanted to watch the show "Born to kill" BUT the bloody Voice crap has taken over the time slot, ggrrrrr End of rant, time for a shower so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Macca x :D

Physio in your own street sounds like a very good plan Dot. Hope it works out for her (and you of course). Your poor kiwi mate, makes you wonder how the legal people can sleep straight at night xxxx

Had a busy day, sorting out the shed and making room for the new kiln. The shed is almost working now, with newer kiln in the prime position. Only real problem is, that the power lead is not long enough to reach the only 15 amp power point. There is another, heavier, kiln in the way. :D I will investigate getting an industrial strength extension lead tomorrow. I wouldn't use the many metres long caravan lead, it is just way too long and I want to be sure of the reliability of the lead.

Once the kiln living arrangements were sorted, I managed to create a few more plates. They are having their fusing session tonight. Soon I will be ready to start bending plates over molds. Next job was to put the original old kiln up for sale. Ad has been written and posted on Aust glass f**kbook page. Time will tell if this is enough to get rid of the old kiln.

Good night all of to Darwin tomorrow and back Sunday, funeral for a friend if they release the body.

Had the auto electrician here today putting in a couple of %12v outlets in the bedside cupboards and one for the Starlink 12 v power system I built. Will see how that goes when we get back. If all ok then good by Telstra.

Deborah we look forward to seeing the new masterpieces you get from the new kiln. With the "lady" kicking off about your earing colours I would of asked her to show you her patent thingo. Next thing they will want to charge us for the air we breathe. I am over the crap that is going on these days. My next add I hate is the Aldi add with the rain pouring down on the woman that wanted some fish or such & check out twit saying "we love you" and she saying "you will always be my first" Grrrr G started his prep thing ready for the explosive bum stuff on Thurs arvo. :D I did a beautiful silverside in the dreampot and all the vegs in it as well but he can only have spuds, pumpkin so now I have heaps of carrots, peas, beans and cauliflower cheese . Must say the meat was lovely and moist. Looks like the bus roof won't be getting any attention until next week if the weather is still good. My NZ mate's legal team (lawyer and Barrister) did a phone thing between judge, bro lawyer, now the bro's lawyer is asking for Sue to put 2mill k's into her lawyers trust and he wants 10 acres of her land ???? Where is her bro getting $$ for his lawyer (supposed to be no win no fee) and legal aid but this lawyer has been stretching things out so where is he getting some $$ from he knows he wont win this one and the bro is unemployed but we guess he is back to his old tricks of growing. Told Sue to spend a few grand and get a good private dick maybe recommended by her Barrister. Her Barrister is locked into a murder case for the next 6 weeks so that may be a good time to do that. The world is just so stuffed. My physio is coming up on Saturday to look at the cottage I found for her & I reckon she will buy it which means we don't have to go to town for treatment :D Off to bed now, have a safe trip Nth Robert n Bob. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Chuck x :D

Dot, the Aldi ad has done its job. You noticed it. That's what it is meant to do, just get your attention.
Your mates brother is a low act grub, but I reckon we've known that for a while now.
Cheers
