Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

'tanks" here---
I am awake and ready for another day. I've no plans to do anything today, same as other days.
I might watch the ladies play AFL on the TV. The Giants v West Coast Eagles at 10:00am, followed by Lions v Collingwood at 4:00pm.
What has life come to? I might even take up making macramé flowerpot holders for a bit of excitement.
Keith.

Morning folks all well here or happy as it is either way.

Should be flying to Darwin next week for a funeral. Dam hate going there this time of year gives my lungs hell these days.

Keith if starting macramé try making hat holders and other storage items you might a make a profit then.

Cheers Robert

Good morning All. A beautiful 19* and partly cloudy after overnight rain. Luckily, I completed my bretaining wall reconstruction, including pressure cleaning, yesterday afternoon.

I have been seeking quotes for painting of eaves, fascia, gutters, downpipes and 3 garage doors. I received two while another was supposed to turn up Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday bbut was a no show.

The quotes I received are $6,450 and $4,180, so maybe one is overcharging while the other undercharging??? The main reason I was wanting a third quote.

Good morning everyone.
Wow what a day ahead...bacon and eggs AND Bathurst :D can't wait ;)
Went and got some more firewood from neighbour just off cuts from flitches...no good wasting them. I gave the motorhome a quick wash then had the day off. :P
The shootout for pole was close...probably not more than a car length over the 10 cars.
Things must be getting better over the west...Keith taking up macramé and such
I bet Terry hopes Margaret wakes him today instead of tomorrow, less he miss's the race.
Speaking of tomorrow...I will say more...tomorrow ;) ;) 8-)
Keep safe .
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. Its a drizzly windy morning here today. Won't be a lot happening here I reckon. Will probably watch most of Bathurst, but it's not the same anymore. V8 Supercars aren't so super in my book. I enjoyed it more when you could actually buy what you were looking at.
I'm having an avocado toasty for brekky. No bacon today at our place. Enjoy your day everybody, no matter what you get up to. Safe travels.
Cheers

David, try a layer of Smoked Salmon under the crushed/mashed Avocado, and dont forget the salt and a sprinkle of white pepper to enhance the flavour.

Bernie, good morning mate. I have crushed Avocado (plus a tiny splash of lemon juice) on toast for breakfast each morning. She has warned me off fatty foods, so no bacon or red meats.
This was recommended by my GP to counter Diverticulitis which was diagnosed by the CT thingo.
good to hear that you are getting on-top of the motorhome jobs.
See my post to David below, just for a breakfast variation.

Tanks, I reckon that Bernie is pretty set in his ways with the bacon and egg Sunday breakfast. Dunno that you would have much chance of making a change. :D
Just checked the rain gauge, we had 8mm overnight. Must have just been constant drizzle, as I heard nothing, and I hadn't been on the sauce either.
Cheers

David, I wouldn't expect Bernie to change , but as an alternative for a morning tea snack.
I accept that you can't teach an old dog new tricks.
I would be into the 4 bacon with 2 poached eggs regime if I didn't have to eliminate all fats from my food.
