Good morning everyone. Currently 14° here, heading for 25. I just hope the wind has blown itself out.
Had an interesting day yesty. Went to see the GP and finished up having an upper body CT scan. Still have to get an ultrasound done on my legs. Then I went to the airport and picked up Terrie. She had a great visit with her parents.
Traffic on the way up and back wasn't much fun though.
Safe travels everybody, have a top Tuesday.
Good morning daily

Sunny and warm expected 26 degs today. G has gone to the block to wack the dying weeds. Had a call from the hosp getting the same answers as was filled out on the admit forms but he will be asked them another 7 times. When I had my foot done you know they mark the intended op site well I was just thinking will they mark his outie?
Off for a stroll now. C U

Good morning.
I slept in Shirley
its hard trying to keep up with teenagers
After spending more than we should have we are home from the bigsmoke
Not much else happened yesterday...today could be different.
May or may not do the oil change in the motorhome today
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. It must be good weather for a sleep in. I had the best nights sleep in ages.
Might go and vote today, then take Bandit for a walk.
Good luck with the oil change Bernie, if you get around to it.
Happy hump day everybody. Safe travels all those out and about.

"tanks" here----
Hello, you mob...
Early start today for a visit to my GP for the results of the Colonography they did on me last week.
I will get a visit to Coles and Woolies just for a look around. I don't need any supplies but it is nice just to walk around the shops and see people going about their daily activity, instead of sitting alone in my room.
Have a good day you all . It is only 07:00am over here and I'm waiting for the sun to present itself.
Keith.

Good morning everyone.
I hope you had a exciting day in the shops Keith, and the Doc's report is favorable.
The oil change was done
Plus we are changing the shad cloth across the front of the house...it faces the western HOT sun...from beige to charcoal to try and stop the glare.
That was enough for the day where I really wasn't planning anything
Will finish the shade cloth today.
About time I moved the motorhome from under cover to sunlight and turn the fridge on.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

G'day Bernie, It looks as if we are the only ones awake this early this morning.
The report shows a severe Diverticulitis, so it is more medication for a while in the form of strong antibiotics, and a strict diet until the pain and other symptoms pass. The low fiber diet is not a problem because I am permitted most of the foods that I usually eat anyway.
I think that I will pretend that it is Saturday and try to have a sleep-in. I have been awake since 04:00am and there is nothing I can do at that hour without disturbing the others in the house.

Re: Good morning daily
You get what you pay for, and not always value for money. You didn't say what capacity battery he bought, but here is a video on capacity testing a 200Ah, brand new and fully charged. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TM97IgzdlX8
The presenter seems pleased he got 200Ah out of a 200Ah battery, but it was only tested at 10 amps or a C20 load, the capacity discharged over 20 hrs .... that's the rating as a lead acid battery and I expect a good 200Ah lead battery would pass the same test because the cut off voltage is so low on the Kings lithium 200Ah battery, so the only gain so far is the lithium battery is lighter than a lead acid battery. At the end of the 200ah discharge @ a C20 rate, the voltage was down to 9.8v .... the none destructive max discharge is 2.8v per cell, 4 cells = 11.2v, so the battery management system (BMS) inside the battery is deliberately set low to get the whole 200Ah at such a low load.
The video later shows a load test of 160 amps .... 200 / 160 = 1.25 or roughly 1 hr and 15 mins, check out how long the battery monitor says the 200 Ah Kings lithium will continue to power that load .... 8 mins, and that is before the BMS cuts it off, not till the battery is fully discharged @ 11.2v under load ..... I'd be interested to see the results of the same load test on a quality lead acid 200Ah battery ......
So, was the Kings 200Ah cheaper than a 200Ah lead acid battery? https://www.springers.com.au/shop/hgl20 ... #attr=1534 advertised for $799 ......
