Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

The bird just happened to cling to the screen door during my post Dave. Nothing to do with Leslie or Jon.

Good morning everyone. It's still a bit windy here, with no sign of rain. Might get to mid 20's if we're lucky.
Went for a drive into the countryside yesty. Had a decent lunch at a pub in Beaudesert. Didn't get up to much else.
Looks like Bernie doesn't have phone reception, wherever they have pulled up for the night.
It's bin day somewhere. Safe travels everybody.
Cheers

Good morning, 18c predicting 22c very overcast, grey clouds no rain forecast we could certainly do with a few good showers.

George your beautiful rosella was probably after some seed, we only have the eastern rosellas locally. We have a problem with ducks so many people have fed them over the years that the population has grown the area is over run with them.

Does anyone know why the price of fuel varies so much?
Petrol varies from 1.80 to 2.37 within 5 km from here.
Diesel is 2.09 to 2.35, I don't see how they can justify the variation.
Enjoy your trip Bernie.
We are going for a day trip to the country today, because we can.
Happy hump day everybody, safe travels.
What have you been up to Leslie? You have been pretty quiet lately.
Price gouging and what the market will pay .... ever noticed the prices at Woolies or Coles varies depending on the socio-economics of the area ... and if there is an Aldi store within walking distance ...

It's definitely price gouging T1, but I'm not sure about the Aldi connection though. We have 2 Aldis close by, and the Coles Shell and Woolies Ampol. All of the 4c off servos around here are the most expensive. The Freedom servos that tie in with C#$A won't even participate in their scheme.

The Aldi store has to be in the same complex, so close walking distance, if they have to get in the car then they won't price compare, so the big two can get away with charging more .... we saw this in action big time when we were living back in Lake Illawarra. A marked price difference between the Woolies in Warilla Grove (big time drug f*cked and unemployment region) compared to the Woolies Supermarket at Shellharbour City, only 5 kms away ... There was already an Aldi in Shellharbour City, but when the Aldi opened up in the Warilla Grove complex near opposite Woolies, the Woolies price dropped even more .....
We have an OTR as well as an independent servo in Mannum, they price match each other  in Adelaide, even the OTR service stations have different prices depending on the area

Why was it so much cooler there than here Dottie? I thought I was going to melt swapping the tail lights between the two Priuses because the Silver Prius has melted tail light plastic lens and they can't be removed from the tail light assemble  Even the cat and dog came inside to cool off under the fan/air con
