Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning everyone. I had a blood test early yesterday,
the GP text me result last night, he's not happy. Retest in a fortnight. Spent most of the day on the phone sorting out stuff. Why does big business make everthing so difficult? We are all packed up, ready to jump on a plane and head to Adelaide later today. Bandit won't be happy, he's not coming.
Safe travels everybody, have a top day.
Cheers

Good morning.
Still doing nothing...I think it's addictive :D :D
Not much going on in the district so can't tell any gossip
We did water the front lawn through the day...I fixed up a old sprinkler thingy that had been in the shed since we moved here...I think the boss wants a newer one next time we go to town.
Enjoy Adelaide David.
Keep safe.

Good morning everyone, from sunny but rather cool Adelaide CBD. Was planning on wearing shorts today, but I doubt that will happen now. We are doing some sightseeing today from the hop on hop off bus.
Happy hump day everybody, have a great day.
Cheers

That is what my big Peugeot 508 will do, Maybe a touch better on the open road.

Got 800km on the last 40 ltrs, but the speed limiter was in the passenger seat  Still not bad for a 2006 model vehicle ....

Went to look at a '73 Leyland Mastiff (said Mastin in the ad) 12.5 mtr converted motorhome yesterday. Margaret freaked out about the length, yet looked at an Avida something or other that wasn't too long apparently, but stepped out, it was the same length
The internal fit out was great, a Cat 3208 and 6 sp auto .... loved it, but the holder of the finances gave it the thumbs down, so that was that .... "where would we park it" was the major objection, but I think the fear of driving something that long might have been there in the background ;)

Still dreaming, the Mazda is starting to look like it might be the current project, get it sorted and sell it, then move on to ....... seems now Big Bus is a "hill too far" in her eyes .....

T1, are you saying that now, Rustic is no longer a viable project? Whatever the answer, you guys need a bit of a change of luck. You both deserve it. :D

Morning everyone.
I just sorted stuff in the shed yesterday, I have the log splitter ready for me to start splitting...one day :D Moved the bus the mower and the table saw...it has wheels ;) just to get the splitter where I want it.
Over the back came over for a chat...another hour gone :D
I also found out...this is gossip  that next doors BT50 is in the "shop" apparently it spat a water hose when he was on his way to work the other day...bet he's not a happy chappy at the moment. He doesn't know yet what and if he cracked the head big $$$s.
Not much else going on here...just bloody hot days...but that's what the aircons for :D.
Keep safe.

Good morning everyone. Its still dark over here in Adelaide, looks like it's windy and cold still. But that might change later on. We did a fair bit of walking yesty. We first did a tour of a the parliamentary building and the cricket ground.
Went to another place that you can't mention here , but involves gam b ling. Spent the past cuppla hours working out what it didn't like. It's not dark anymore. We'll be out walking soon. Have a top day everybody. Safe travels.

Edit. I started this post at about 5.30 this morn but the forum wouldn't accept my post. First time I've tried to post a word it didn't like.

At the moment, no, Margaret wants something ready to drive away tomorrow .... I explained that such a machine is not available and never will be, because she has things she wants and things she doesn't want .... and so do I .... and often they are on different pages ... so we aren't on the same page at the moment

Rustic will possibly end up as a mobile accommodation rather than a motorhome, yet to see, the length compared to the house yard is the catch .... but I'm steadily working on a compromise that might solve that issue, a second driveway to access the side of the garage I've been working on so the motorhome would not have to come up the driveway and turn in front of the house and park somewhere that would block her view ... fair enough I guess,
and she is starting to realise she can't have the:
separate shower and toilet
dinette table and chairs
queen size bed
captain's chairs
a well appointed kitchen ... set out the way she would like
plenty of cupboard space .....

and something we both want:
rear engine
wide body
New decent sized household fridge/freezer

and what I want:
Enough batteries to free camp without an issue
hybrid electric drive
plenty of solar
under body bins to store all my stuff and the chairs, BBQ and all the outside living requirements

and
be powerful enough to tow either the Kombi or Jimny or Blade

all in something less than 8 mtrs long so it can fit somewhere in the yard as it is now
