Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

I near started a marital bun fight last time I even mentioned it on the phone to George  We were looking at a similar model bus and I was asking about engine power and drivability, he said the price of the one we were looking was about the same as the base model they imported before all the added work and fit out went into it ..... when I asked if they were looking at selling theirs and what sort of $$ ... and all hell broke out with Dottie in the background arguing with the G'mans price estimation :o
So I decided that changing the topic was a better idea ;)

We did end up taking the non turbo Rosa for a test drive ... town diff, a very optimistic speedo that only went to 90km/h but actually reached the stop pin close to the odometer before it actually reached 90km/h according to the GPS on Brian's phone ..... so not a cheap fix and it only reached the 90km/h on a down hill section  It was ok as far as the fit out went, but by the time the required $$ were spent to make it a hwy cruiser, then add the time involved ... it sort of died off from the list ..... maybe a 7 sp Allison with the latest hybrid mechanical/electric set up in the one gearbox and double o/drive would get it over the line, or a complete axle swap to a new Allison e axle https://www.allisontransmission.com/ev- ... egen-power and use the power poor 6 cyl Mitsubishi engine to drive a generator to make it a hybrid .... or try to sell all the drive mechanicals and put the $$ towards batteries and solar .....

Make me an offer I can;t refuse BUT there is a genny , of which you do not like
I'll have to word my offer better than you worded yours back in Kerang so I don't get a knock back
I'm off to Kerang again on Saturday after last weeks practice run  to attend my friends 70th birthday party, Tiina his wife doesn't have a lot of time left after being diagnosed with bone cancer 6 mths ago .. then down to my friends in Bently East (Moorabbin) for a visit and pick up my latest gear he has scored for me .... and to do a bit of wiring for him, and to have a beer or three ;)

Will ring you when I get back.

We almost nearly got to catch up today Terry. Like Maxwell Smart says, missed by...... Anyway, enjoy your trip to Kerang for the weekend. Happy birthday Brian. I hope you had a great day too. There is a fair bit of works happening on the western side of the marina isn't there.
Cheers

Good morning everyone, from Mypolonga. The trip down the river has been very scenic so far. Lots of birdlife, even saw a few fish jumping as the sun was going down. We are heading down to Murray Bridge when the sun gets up, then onto a bus for a tour of the Monarto Safari Park this morning. Not sure what else is on the program yet.
Safe travels all those out and about. Have a great weekend.
Cheers

Morning everyone n Dot. :D
Quite day was had up here in elsewhere  I did mow the back yard...not that it needed it, just to tidy up the seed heads and leaves. Hopefully that dam wind will start to ease
Next door bought a truck load of water, he must have been getting low. The new bloke over the road also went and spoke to the truck driver, so he also must be getting low. We have around one full tank left at the moment...We need proper rain.
AND it's bacon and eggs day at our place :D :D
Enjoy your day everyone.
G'day Bob.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone, from somewhere up the river. We tied up to a cuppla big trees last night. All I can see is water and the good old Aussie bush. I'm pretty happy with that.
It's our last full day on the boat today. I've met some interesting people so far. The zoo tour was brilliant, I'd recommend a visit there to everyone.
Enjoy your bacon and egg Bernie. Have a top day everybody.
Safe travels all those out and about.
Cheers

Good morning All. 16* and sunny with 24* forecast.

I kept myself busy around home yesterday replacing tap handles ( had to purchase a set of imperial allen keys to get one the correct size) and rangehood in rental and our toilet roll holder. Today I will check that the rangehood is working as expected.
