Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

You might have to ask young Dorothy if George and herself might consider selling their bus. It ticks most of those boxes. :D

I near started a marital bun fight last time I even mentioned it on the phone to George  We were looking at a similar model bus and I was asking about engine power and drivability, he said the price of the one we were looking was about the same as the base model they imported before all the added work and fit out went into it ..... when I asked if they were looking at selling theirs and what sort of $$ ... and all hell broke out with Dottie in the background arguing with the G'mans price estimation :o
So I decided that changing the topic was a better idea ;)

We did end up taking the non turbo Rosa for a test drive ... town diff, a very optimistic speedo that only went to 90km/h but actually reached the stop pin close to the odometer before it actually reached 90km/h according to the GPS on Brian's phone ..... so not a cheap fix and it only reached the 90km/h on a down hill section  It was ok as far as the fit out went, but by the time the required $$ were spent to make it a hwy cruiser, then add the time involved ... it sort of died off from the list ..... maybe a 7 sp Allison with the latest hybrid mechanical/electric set up in the one gearbox and double o/drive would get it over the line, or a complete axle swap to a new Allison e axle https://www.allisontransmission.com/ev- ... egen-power and use the power poor 6 cyl Mitsubishi engine to drive a generator to make it a hybrid .... or try to sell all the drive mechanicals and put the $$ towards batteries and solar .....

Your Bedford is front engine and Margaret has decided she doesn't want another front engine motorhome because I can use the noise as an excuse to ignore her

Good morning.
No Shirley didn't sleep in...I go to a aviation forum before here...they had a lot of video's to see. :P plus posts.
WE almost got rain last night...around 11pm...just light nothing in the gauge, could hear thunder way off.GRRR. Plus wind that would blow a dog off it's chain.
I spent some of yesterday under the motorhome, I ran over a truck retread cap I couldn't avoid on our trip, it cracked a water fitting but its now ready to go back on.
Just the usual other stuff we do around the place was all we got up to.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. Had a bit of an ordinary nights sleep. Reckon I was awake more than I slept. We did more tourist stuff yesty. Walked another 10k or so and did another lap on the bus. We are off to Mannum this afternoon to begin the next part of our trip. Going on the Murray Princess for a few days. If it's half as good as the publicity shots then it should be pretty spectacular. Hopefully we will have a bit of time to catch up with some Mannumites, you never know. Have a top day everybody. Safe travels.
Cheers
David

Wow, that sounds interesting David enjoy cruising the river.

I’m like you have to many sleepless nights, awake more than I sleep, not good.

The sun has broken thru the overcast sky, easterly breeze across the lake
