Armed thieves rob couple in Blue Mountains

A COUPLE has been robbed at gunpoint at a caravan park in the Blue Mountains.

The man and woman were in a campervan at the Katoomba caravan park when three men approached them about 3pm (AEST) on Tuesday, police say.

The men threatened the couple with a firearm then robbed them of cash and other items, before leaving the area in a car.

No shots were fired during the robbery and no one was injured.

Hmmmmmmmm seems strange that the "thieves" targeted a single couple rather than the office where there would have been more money, but then again, strange things happen in "park jails" maybe it was the park staff trying to get more $$ out of their guests?? At least no one was hurt (did that save me?)

Anyone pulls a gun on me in a similar situation then they'd better be prepared to use it - or find it shoved up their foofal valve... to the trigger guard!!!
