Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good news is Terrie only has a very mild case. With the new relaxed rules in Qld, the GP reckons that she could go to work if she wanted to. No wonder it is running rampant in the community, according to the doc. I certainly don't want to catch it again.

WTF? she could go to work if she wanted? crazy we will be back to lockdowns if this is the medical people's attitude. I am going back to masks when ever we go out of the house. I don't want to catch anything. Which strain has Terrie get? the old or the new?

They have relaxed all the rules Dot. About 4 months ago. You can't self report like you used to. No mention of a PCR test to find which strain. Might be different in SA but not east coast. They have basically given up, but some say it was never as bad as they made out. But that another story.

Morning everyone.
We added more shade cloth to where she wanted it...it's like a small green house now :D it's where the bore is.
Not much else happened...slow day...still thinking of the log splitter ;)
No furry critters on the camera...or anything else for that matter
Don't know yet what I will get up to yet...she's still asleep :D
Keep safe people.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. Its a bright sunny day here. Achieved not very much yesty, except a bit of trimming in the yard. The front yard needs weeding again, so that might be on today's list of things to do.
Bernie, what has someone seen in the yard that brings on the need for the trail camera?
Enjoy your day everybody, safe travels.
Cheers

Our cat brought one of these in from his cat run https://www.environment.sa.gov.au/goodl ... its%20body we finally caught it a few days later and I released it in the front yard ... sadly, Brian found it dead a few days later ...... The giveaway to me was the back legs looked like a kangaroo in miniature, and it sort of hopped rather than ran .... cute looking thing, I'm not sure if the cat actually injured it or the whole event was just too much for it ...

Spent last Monday pulling the Prius battery apart yet again, trying to determine the cause of the "RED Triangle of Death" that reappeared in the instrument cluster just outside Kerang when heading to Melbourne ... no cruise control and rather strange throttle operation requiring a "flat to the floor" on the load pedal to get over the on/off/on thing it does like it's run out of fuel .... All the bits are spread out behind the Prius, and the mate arrives home from work with another workmate ..... and we get on the Jack Daniels and sugarfree cola .... the only saving factor was the JD, hate the taste of artificial sweeteners, after multiples trying to get the taste out of my mouth and helping (read doing it all) to fit another Anderson plug and cable from his house battery in the back of his ute to the towbar area ...... and it started to rain ... in Melbourne, who would have thunk it  In the mad rush to get every thing back in the Prius, I somehow managed to lock the doors with the fob and key on the drivers floor .... supposed to be fool proof that it can't be done .... but I was too clever for that
Spent Tuesday trying to unlock the door, walked to the local Bunnings and bought one of those blow up cushions to get between the window and door skin, had to buy a pack of coat hangers from a $$ bargain shop to get the wire, they are all plastic these days, but still no luck .... in frustration it was either smash a window or ring a locksmith ..... took the locksmith all of 2 mins to open the door, $378 thank you very much .... the window would have been the cheaper option ..... by this time the mate was home from work and it was dinner time  Put the Prius back together Wed, drove out to Pakenham .... Mrs Google said it would be 18mins drive, got there an hr later ..... bought some bits for the Prius from a Wrecker with the strangest wrecking yard I think I've ever seen, car just stacked on top of each other and a bloke scrambling around on them pulling parts off as I pointed them out :? couldn't understand a word either of us said, so that was fun, then drove home to Mannum ... in Melbourne for 3 1/2 days and it was the longest mth of my life

You know what I am about to say Terry, You have a secure cat run and area so use it for the sake of the little native animals. :(

Good morning all.
Just moving the sprinkler was the most "hard" work I got up to yesterday :D
Had a chat with a cupple of forum friends...yes I have more than one :D :D
Still no furry critters on camera...there was a bloody cane toad
Wood splitter still in the thinking stage...must be getting closer. :?:
Ducked into Biggenden with herself... needed milk and bread.
Smoke haze really bad yesterday...seems clear outside so far.
That was about it for the day.
Keep safe.
Bernie.
