Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Nice setup Terry, lot of money for a medium size rig, especially one with a 6.5hp fuso donk, peddling is good for the soul, but can get boring.

If the condition from the radiator through the drive line is in good nick, so you don't have to spend dollars, it's a good buy whatever you pay for it. As we all know, when it comes to travelling, it's what we need to achieve our goal on the road, which drives preferences and purchases. Good size for two, air suspension, A/C, self contained after Terry gets through with it and reasonably economic as Fuso's are pretty reliable donks. All you need is a 65inch screen folding down from the roof over the drivers seat.

Morning everyone.
We didn't bother looking at Fuso's because of where the front door is.
Another 35* yesterday at the moment it's overcast...might get rain yer/no :D
The ignition thingy's arrived yesterday so I guess I'll be working on the Yaris, Carol will be pleased ;)
Not much else went on Carol didn't win at bingo and not much gossip
Where are you Keith?
Keep safe.

Good morning everyone. Its a bit overcast here at the mo'.
I hope it stays that way for rest of the day. Going fishn' with the son/grandson today.
We went over to the ocean beach yesty morn, and had brekky at the cafe. Then we went walking on the beach. There were quite a few people with the same idea. Lovely way to use up a morning.
Bernie, do you have any more pics of your rat kangaroo nocturnal visitors?
I hope your new rig is as good as it looks Terry. You and Marg can do a bit of touring now. No good just parking it in the yard.
Have a wonderful day everybody, safe travels all those out and about.
Cheers

Good morning All. Painters were to arrive at 7am so I set the alarm for 6:15 but, either I didn't hear it or it didn't go off, and I was woken by 5 guys knocking at the front door. I now have to put up with the radio noise for the rest of the day. They should get a fair bit done as 25* and partly cloudy forecast.

The door is mid vehicle ... well, towards the front from the middle, the rear escape door is gone but big windows in the bedroom that can easily be kicked out it we need to escape that way if a fire blocks the path to the door.
NP, it drove ok around Lithgow and on the freeway, but it is a 9 tonne monster with the aero of a block of flats, so ...... The longer term plan is to either convert it to a 5 or 6 speed Allison or even the hybrid electric drive box ..... or adding a hybrid drive assist to the motor for hill climbing and regen braking ...... if I upgrade it to 48v, then the drive assist and house can share the battery pack, but the hybrid auto is nom. 700vdc, so it would have it's own battery and a 900vdc to 24vdc step down to charge the house battery ... maybe, although the Mitsubishi engine etc is 24v, so, maybe just a stand along traction battery and a 240vac to 900vdc battery charger if required .....

I'm trying not to get too fixated on this purchase, if it falls through I don't want to be shattered as well as Margaret ... just the navigator will be bad enough

Margaret mentioned this morning, the price was as much as she paid for the house in Lake Illawarra, I replied that it was 2 1/2 times as much as I paid the house in West Wollongong ....... and by far, the most I've ever spent as a cash purchase ..... but apparently it isn't my money we are spending ... it's ours .... and every married man knows what that means .....

"tanks" here---
Well folks, I am now back on the internet and I should not have any further outage time. Thank you kind lady from Telstra.
I now have the 200gb they promised me back in May when I was living in Dysart Qld.

I have moved to Wyalkatchem from Balga, and it is good to be out of the city and back in quiet sleepy old Wylie.
I've nothing much to say other than T-1 Terry and Margaret have a great time in the box-on-wheels that can take you from place to place.
Cheers, Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Terry, leave the thing as is, take Margaret and get out of there for a few months. You know the speed at which you get things done and we all know you will never get it finished. You should of bought one partly done for $20k if those things you mentioned doing then you ate throwing $$ away and Margaret is in the same position. ie going no where. You know me say it how I see it. :D ;) Go on bugger off, the thing is all set up for comfort.

Good morning.
Another rainless day temp got to 35* so aircon on :D
Good to see the "telco" finally fixed your problem Keith, plus the good chat we had yesterday.
We didn't get up to much around the house mainly because of the heat, plus our (don't do any work after noon o'clock)
Yes I seen your motorhome has a mid mount door...but that a 9m bus, and I was not allowed above 7m...and all of those Fuso's had front door. which means passenger not side by side.
The 9m Isuzu we had was front door. hence the "boss" not wanting another.
Dave I haven't been putting the camera out maybe I will tonight.
Keep safe.
Opps almost forgot, the new ignition coils are in and Carol's car purrs like a kitten.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. The man reckons that we are in for a heatwave for the next few days. We'll have to wait and see if it turns up. I just hope there is no fires.
Had a great day yesty with son and grandson, trying to pump some yabbies and wasting bait. Little bloke loved it. He's heading back to suburban Melbourne tomorrow.
We have nothing planned for the next few days, that I know of. But that could change quickly.
Happy hump day everybody, safe travels.

Edit. Had numerous attempts at getting on to forum today had the same phpBB blah as last week.
Cheers
