Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning everyone. Its a bit overcast here with a mid 20's day coming up. Ot at least that was late yesty's version of what might be.
I've been down for the count with a bout of diverticulitis, combined with a crook back. Just being a grumpy old man feeling sorry for myself. Then I had a bit of a yack with one of the neighbours and read about some of our members health issues. Gave myself an uppercut and told myself to get on with it.
I went on to have one of the best nights sleep that I've had for a very long time.
I hope that all those that are a bit crook can get better and maybe walk down the sunny side of the street for a while.
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers
David

Good morning.
Nothing major happened yesterday,
Didn't do the mowing, maybe today.
We had overcast skies for three days... and no rain ☔. clear sky today.
And it's bacon and eggs day again.
Good your back on your feet Dave.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone, its a beautiful sunny Sunday morning here on the GC. We went up to the other side of Brissy yesty arvo to watch the eldest Gkid play gridiron. A very complicated waste of energy in my book. But you give 'em support, don't you.
Today we are off to one of the markets up the mountain. Haven't been up there for a while. Might be lucky and find some treasure.
Enjoy your bacon and egg Bernie. Safe travels all those out and about.
Cheers

After 4 days of failed attempts at travelling to Lithgow so Margaret can give the motorhome the final tick of approval, after I check out the wiring, I think we might have another attempt at travelling ...... replaced the front pads in the Prius, as a precautionary measure, and managed to activate the braking system limp home lock everything out mode, complete with all the warning lights, no abs, no traction control, brake fail and a few others I'm not sure what they signalled, but basically, hard pedal and no stopping within the same postcode.
Turns out, a simple bridging wire, 8 pumps of the brake pedal, hold the mouth the right way, turn the car off again, remove the wire, car on, and all works fine .... the valves in the ABS double as a total hydraulic failsafe by blocking off which ever line it senses an excess of fluid passed through, then uses the fluid in the pressure pump to supply enough fluid to operate any still functioning parts of the hydraulic system. Simply using the brake pedal to push the pistons back against the pads tripped the fail safe
All good now, so off we go, again ..... without the cat this time

Good morning.
Gez you get into strife Terry 😁.
I finally mowed the front yard, then watched both the car race and the golf...
Police were over the road on dark to the people renting. Lots of yelling and swearing, then a ambulance arrived... that's as much as I know...I don't know the people.
Carol will be off to bingo today...I can run amuck 😆
Keep safe everyone.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. Its a beautiful sunny morning here.
We've just had the mobile safety certificate guy here doing our annual inspection. Arrived at 7am. We usually compare travel notes as he goes about his inspection. Today we compared medical notes, he now has a pacemaker. He reckons I'll wear out before the truck part of the M/h will.
I'm going fishing with the youngest gkid today, he's got a new motor for his boat and wants to show it off . He's a great kid. Loves his fishn'.
Safe travels everybody. Good health to all our members.
Cheers

"tanks" here---
G'Day Bernie and David.
Another Monday and the start of another week in paradise.
Yesterday late afternoon there was a lot of thunder and lightning in the old town.
When you think of it, that was last week.
I am off to the local GP today to obtain prescriptions and present my history for the records.
It is 26.4c inside and we can expect temps in the high 30's today.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Good morning Tanks & the others!
Tanks I've moved from Dr to Dr a few times & usually they have an authorisation form you sign so they can get all your records sent on from previous Dr.
I was suspicious of just how much was being forwarded but I had a procedure (camera down the throat) about 20 years ago, long before computer records were being stored) and they DID have it on the records & the results.
Sometimes that may be better than trying to do it from 'your' memory!
Good to see you still firing on most cylinders! Did you wear your welcome out in the big smoke or was the actual smoke too bad for your breathing?
