Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!
Good morning.
Spent another day doing nothing except I made another beer brew. that will be the last for this year
There was a big storm front heading towards us yesterday evening...but...it done the Degilbo split and went above and below us...bugga.
Temp was down a bit only seen 35* in the gauge thingy.
There is a garage sale just up from us today...might go for a sticky.
Not much else happening...
Keep safe.
Bernie.
Good morning everyone, fifth attempt at this today. Kept getting a reload page error.
We had a few showers just on dark and then a Qld summer storm blew in overnight. 15mm of rain and a great light and sound show. Went for a few hours. It made 37° deg here yesty, which was pretty ordinary and very humid.
I spent a few hours cleaning the roof of the Winny, then got the scour pad and attacked the Luton peak. It looks pretty good now, except for the faded and cracked stickers. Will have a crack at polishing it next week. We are planning on heading up to the speedway at T Bar this arvo, if the weather looks OK. It pink night, where they do a fund raiser for a few of the local women's health causes.
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers

Well scratch the part about going to the speedway tonight. Its been postponed for a week due to the weather. It's a bit of a bugger, but most of the Downs and Southern Downs could do with some extra rain. It was dry as a chip when we were up there a few weeks ago.
Cheers

Better have a look now David, everything green, EVERY dam full including ours which is a first for a couple of years, amazing change
Vanishing Point, almost ready to vanish
Suzuki GV more than ready to go NOW !
It's kinda weird isn't it Bill. A month or so ago I thought a lot of it was going to get burnt to toast, and some of it did.
I'd rather see it green than burnt.

Same here. What everyone in the wine industry is dreading is that it will dry out and around vintage time the fires will start, smoke tainting the grapes you have nurtured for months. But who knows, so you just have to keep them going and hope for the best.

Well, I hope that you and all the winemakers in the district can get a good crop and a successful vintage. The fires can bugger off for another season or two.
Cheers
