Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

We had a windy and wet Christmas, so the day spent clearing all the spider webs and spider droppings and generally cleaning up the front patio ready from Christmas ... was a bust, the wind blew the rain in as far as the windows and doors, so we had Christmas out the back instead  Had a great day, ate way too much and paid for it all Boxing day, then back to working on the battery and now solar job in the workshop yard.

Poor bugga thought he was buying 4 x 350w solar panels, at best they are 100w panels, so not enough solar to make the set up self-reliant, so we rearranged them so they fitted on the back half of the roof and they will put 400w into one regulator, then 2 of the 4 x 175w panels off the Mazda roof to mount up the front and add a further 350w to run though the second regulator, so it will end up about half of what he thought he had installed, but it should be enough to see him through most weather conditions.

Morning all.
I fixed a cuppla things in the motorhome yesterday, I set the dish up once again to check the "new" that the through wall thingy works...all good... :D
Put the motorhome back under the shade shed just as a storm hit, pelted down for about half hour and put 10mm in the gauge.
That was it for the day...it only got to 35* but the humidity was bloody high sweat dripping with out doing any thing...seems a bit cooler so far this morning.
How are you fairing Dave ?
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. We are among some of the lucky few streets around here that had our power restored overnight. So it's a much more pleasant morning, ever though it is expected to be mid to high 30's. It was kinda funny hearing the neighbours cheering when we all realised power is back. There are still thousands of people around here that won't have power for days.Trees still across overhead lines and roads.
Now to pack up everything and get ready for our next trip south.
Does anyone have an update on Ray?
Safe travels everybody, have a great day.
Cheers
David

Morning All. Except for Christmas Day it has been quite nice down here. Had a few dry thunderstorms through last night. Mostly went south of us but at 10.30pm one went over the top. Awesome power in them and now I don't have to worry about apricots or grapes I can sit outside and appreciate them as long as they havn't got large hail.
Also have been wondering about how Ray is getting along.
Cheers John

Wow was yesterday HOT...40 degree's here and humid as hell
And we are in for the same today...grrr. It's a full overcast sky out side trapping the heat in.
As you can expect nothing much went on.
Keep safe.

Good morning everyone. We were pretty much same as Bernie except we only made it to 35°.
Still cleaning up after our "officially"a tornado on Christmas night. Not much else to report.
Safe travels everybody.

Good afternoon 26c, enjoyable day, plenty of craft out on the lake, light wind from the east.
We have had thunderstorms the last couple of days but very little rain, the storms all seem to travel on up north.

Arvo all. Good ol Melb weather, drizzling and muggy. Heading off towards Nelson tomorrow so may be another week before home. Need to escape down here. Offered a house rent free just pay bills but even that does not make me want to move. Sunny now but time to go inside to face the yapping machines.

Good morning.
We had a massive storm yesterday, power out for a cuppla hours.
And it dropped another 45mm in the gauge. Yesterday's temp at our place before the storm was 38 degrees, I think we are going to have much the same today.
I will pui a pic of the storm up at the bottom of post.
And guess what not only is it the last Sunday of the year it's also the last bacon and eggs for the year :D ;) When her self gets up
So everyone out there keep safe for the rest of the year.
Bernie.
