A piece of paradise

Post by Swisslulu »

Macquarie Woods 22km south of Orange. Free camping in a very spacious area. Shady trees if you want it or open grassy areas. Toilets, bore water, bins. #1021 in CAW6.

I don't think it would do any good here. Just enjoying the bird life and quiet - apart from the odd generator....

Lesley you'd be surprised sometimes just where you find yabbies.
The best looking places are usually pretty well fished out.
You can't always tell by the holes around the edges either.
Looks like a peaceful place you have there!!

You may be right but I don't think either of us is up to getting the nets down off the roof rack. We enjoyed what we caught but it's a huge job for a relatively small return. Still, we will do it again once my memory of the pain recedes.

Is all still going well with the batteries, or shouldn't I ask..... Did you change your mind about travelling up along the coast road?
