Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning.
No Dave 😡
Had yesterday off... probably an inch of rain through the day. Made for a good beer o'clock, any time I needed ☔😁.
I did watch a DVD when I got the chance. Carol has been watching the tennis 🎾.
Today looks good... so far.
Nothing planned so maybe a swim when the tide comes back from NZ 😁.
Only one more sleep then off home 🏠.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Had to do a Google search to find Terang  We were planning on extending the trip after Nhill to come home via Mt Gambier, but I doubt even that trip will happen now, Dr appointment 22nd about my left ear, then Aust Day 26th, then laser in the right eye Feb 2nd and needles in the eyes a week later, not a lot of free time in the near future ....

Not sure about the Bionic Man title, more an ongoing patch up and medicate project

Yesterday was virtually a non event day as far as motorhome work went. Tried to crawl in the tunnel boot part to fit conduit saddles and stuffed something in my back resulting in left leg lower muscle pain to the extreme along with all the other aches and pains, so work was abandoned for the day. More than half of today has now gone and still nothing done, maybe the conduit saddles can wait while I tackle something else.
I did discover that one of the two 12v batteries that make up the 24v start battery was sitting at 8v, the other at 12.6v, that explains the poor starting ... hopefully ..... A series of charging to 14v, then discharge to 10v and repeat, seems to have it accepting and holding charge. I'll continue to repeat the process until I get it to hold at least 5Ah before dropping below 12v, that should be enough to prove whether the poor starting was a battery issue or something deeper.

Good morning from down town Degilbo.
We home again, lawn needs mowing...and its bloody hot.
No unforeseen problem coming home, I stopped and filled up the LPG tank for the gas injection...it has three light bars on the dash indicating gas level, but it's wrong...60Lt tank with only one light showing bit it only took 31Lt's...then went to another servo for fuel for the motorhome. I got home about 40 min's later than Carol... :D
Unloaded most of the stuff, will finish today then put it back into the shad shed.
Keep safe everyone.

Check that the gas tank is rolled into the correct position. Look up the model tank on the interweb and that will give you the points to measure to ensure the tank is mounted correctly.
Next, the sensor on the gas tank doesn't go through the body of the tank, there is a magnet on the float inside the tank that moves the sensor on the outside of the tank, check that is mounted correctly.
If neither of those two things fixes the problem, you can buy a new sensor to go on the tank. If that doesn't fix it, you will have to wait for the next tank inspection so they can take the float out and replace it.

Lost my first post to the PHP monster for quite some time.

Try again. The sus start battery dropped a cell yesterday, so replaced both with the Full River batteries I removed from the house system. A temporary solution, until I figure out just how I'm going to wire up the 24v house battery as the start battery, along with a 12v battery to cover the 12v loads, then balance the whole lot.

A late Good Morning All due to the PHP thingy. 28* here now and 35* forecast for tomorrow.
We, Julie and I, Sean and Beth, spent yesterday evening at Merwether ocean baths where we also sat at a table overlooking the ocean while we had dinner.
Regarding gas bottles, inorder to avoid the problems Bernie has I fitted two bottles, when one runs out simply switch to the other and have the empty one refilled when convenient.

Different system George, the gas is for the motorhome engine it's gas injected.
Not for cooking.
Not really concerned about it Terry, I don't use it much only on long climbs.
Then I some times forget..

good morning everyone, out of bed, took my pills and now sitting watching the Boys on bikes because it is far to hot for doing anything outside. The boys will be buggered as they have 2 climbs up Willunga hill and the temp is 35degs, how many will survive?
