Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

"tanks" here---
Good morning all. The Police lady has just been here for a daily checkup on my situation and the power outage update .
It looks like the power will not be resumed until sometime next week.
Theb State Premier has just doubled the $120 extended outage bonus to $240. That almost covers the cost of petrol for the generator EXCEPT the local Roadhouse has run out of petrol and it is now necessary to drive to Cunderden some 55 km for fuel.
Enough said. WA State Budget has a surplus of over 3 billion dollars in the kitty.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Good morning All. 26* with 37* forecast. :( :x Aircon turned on to de-humidify when 23* inside.
I did very little yesterday, other than feed the Crimson Rosellas and magpies.
Tuesday appears to be the day to do the mowing.
Enjoy your selves, Keith included.

Good morning everyone. We are still down in the south west of Vic. Just had ham and cheese toast for brekky. One more night at the speedway tonight. It will be even more packed for tonight's final. It's been either drizzling rain and cold or very hot and sticky, with lots of flies, but that how it is around here.
I hope the west gets its power and water sorted out pretty soon, it must be pretty hard on all the people affected by that big storm that they had.
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers

We, Julie and I, Sean and Beth, spent yesterday evening at Merwether ocean baths where we also sat at a table overlooking the ocean while we had dinner.
Regarding gas bottles, inorder to avoid the problems Bernie has I fitted two bottles, when one runs out simply switch to the other and have the empty one refilled when convenient.

Different system George, the gas is for the motorhome engine it's gas injected.
Not for cooking.
Not really concerned about it Terry, I don't use it much only on long climbs.
Then I some times forget..
Bernie.
If you leave it full time, does it reduced the diesel consumption? If it was run full time, how far would the 30 ltrs get you? Or does it use all 60 ltrs and it is just the gauge that isn't working properly?

It's just the gauge Terry, I don't leave it on, just when needed on a long climb.

It would be interesting to hear the results of running the LPG full time, LPG is often half the price of diesel when the price spikes hit ....

I paid $1.088 per for the LPG and $1.939 per litre for the diesel.

LPG isn't half the price of diesel at the moment, but I've seen diesel @ $2.40/ltr down this way not very long ago. For every ltr/100 kms the LPG replaces diesel, the cheaper it is to do each trip.

It would have to be set up like car's, start with diesel then turn the gas on and diesel off.???
At the moment it just gives it a bit of gas to give more HP for hills, with no way to turn diesel off
