Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Morning people, turns out I didn't suffer heatstroke, I suffered stupidity by not reading the label on the last lot of pills the doctor put me on, then a Google search for side effects
https://www.mayoclinic.org/drugs-supple ... g-20075189

No mention to avoid coffee, no mention of side effects to watch out for ...... and I was only supposed to take them for a week ..... 2 x 25mg x 7 = 14, why have 30 in the bottle?

I suspected it was the new pills near the end of the bottle, but then a whole new lot of side effects kicked in ...... now the doctor tells me I should have tapered off the dose at the end, not suddenly stopped .... but fortunately, time will sort out those problems and ease over the next few days ...

Lesson, read the label and Google search the possible side effects ......

I always Google for the side effects, because if it has any == That's me collecting them all !
The last lot I took nearly killed me with a week in hospital under strict Obs, now I have a pacemaker to assist in repairing the damage the Beta Blockers did.
I researched them all, then I cut back nearly all my meds and, "HELLO" stopped taking Pariet, and the constant headaches are gone.

Terry,

In 1995 a doctor put me on between 30 and 100mg/day of Prednizone for 12 months to overcome serious dermatitis with the result being the bones of a 90yo. It then took 10 years of fosamax to resstore the bone density.

Occasionaly the dermo reappears and it takes a week os so of 20 mg to alleviate it but then it takes a month or so of gradual reduction to get off it. I am current on 2.5mm/day and still have slight dermo.

Wow, apparently caffeine is still to be avoided. I lasted maybe an hr after my morning coffee and it became more than a heart started, I thought it was about to escape and head off on its own  hat then flattened me and I decided to lay down for the next few hrs ... well, until 2pm when I woke up again .... I'll skip the coffee for a while, and coca-cola even though I've been enjoying the odd drink with Stones Mac .....
Try again tomorrow and see if I can get anything more done on the motorhome ....

"tanks" here---
I'm awake and having my first cuppa as I watch for the sun to appear.
I've nothing to add so have a good day everyone.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Good morning everyone. We are now back at Mulwala, probably be here for a while I reckon. Terrie's mum is not good, and she probably won't be getting better.
T1, welcome to my world. I used to live on coffee and other brewed beverages. Now, maybe one coffee a month and 3 or 4 bevies a day is just enough to set of some type of event. I choose to blame covid for that.
Glad to hear you are back Tanks.
Will spend the rest of the day getting properly set up in the back yard and organising a few things.
Have a great day everybody, happy hump day.
Cheers

Apparently it rained last night, guess who didn't put all the tools away out of the rain  so, this morning will be cleaning and drying them, then maybe start work ....
At least it's a lot cooler here today, was a very hot one here yesterday

Good one Terry, you should know that not packing up at the end of the day only works if you have a roof over the work area.
Otherwise you spend half a day cleaning everything first
But you already know that now.
Cheers
