Nice and cool at the moment with a large rain front coming from the N/W. Dot should be happy with that. Expecting a few more hour of it, at lest all the dust and crap will settle.
Terry is it Cellulitis I had that in April in hospital for a week on intravenous antibiotics. Talking of operating and removing the tendon for the right toe. Infection was uo to the knee. Took 3 months to clear and they could not work out how I got it.
Take care every one and a Great Australia Day cheers Robert.

I reckon the answer to the compliance question is pretty simple.T1 Terry wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2024 1:55 pm
........
Trying to sort the wiring inside the motorhome with no power to run the air con or even a fan, it doesn't take long to send me back inside looking for the air conditioned comfort .... why people insist on running 12v wiring and 240vac wiring together beats me, it's like they have a death wish or no idea about electrical safety ..... I wonder how they get an electrical compliance certificate, maybe the 12v cables are added afterwards and the 240vac cables supply an easy path through the walls ......

The person that signed it off had no regard for the regulations, or, as is more likely, the original state of registration has no need for an electrical compliance certificate. It still amazes me that there are licenced electrical contractors out there that have no idea that AS3001 even exists.

Good morning Bob.
Light misty rain this morning, just back from 4K walk...and feeling it
Busy day In Maryborough yesterday...she spent toooo much
$318 just for the steak.
Spent about $900 all up...but that's for a month...steak will last probably three months.
No rain as yet from what's going up north.
And nothing planned for today.
Enjoy your day.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. Happy Australia
day.
We have had 4mm of light rain overnight and plenty of wind.
Didn't get much done yesty except cook some steak on the bbq for lunch. We went for a walk later in the day, after it had cooled off a bit. Enjoy your day everybody, safe travels all those out and about.

I made a wrong count on the steak yesterday...we have one week less that 5 months of steaks...unless we get visitors...
I will probably mow again today once the dew dry's...maybe
Mot much else going on up here.
Keep safe and cool.
Bernie.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. It's been pretty busy already in downtown Mulwala. Might have to go back to the GC for some peace and quiet.
Can't believe the number of people wandering about or fishing on the river. Must be a holiday weekend.
I think school goes back soon so it will quiet down soon enough.
Stay well hydrated everybody. Safe travels all those out and about.

Morning everyone.
Not such a good morning for us.
I was talking to a good friend yesterday morning about tyre size and stuff around 9.30am.
At around 3.30 or so, his wife rang us to tell there had been a terrible accident and her husband was dead...
He was working under his motorhome and the jack had moved and motorhome fell and crushed him...
So please when working under anything make sure it's safe to do so ...
He wasn't a member here but was a CMCA member...
We are still in a bit of shock here, especially Carol
Bernie.

Good morning everyone.
Thats terrible news Bernie. It makes all our problems, that we rabbit on about pretty pointless. I hope you and Carol are ok.
We are heading off on a short road trip to visit some friends this morning.
Safe travels everybody, take care please.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning, 25.8 & maximum 27c sounds good, after the couple of really hot days lately, calm lake with a breeze from the south.
Really sad news Bernie, tragic accident always need to have more support than a jack, my father had his Falcon car fall from a jack & pin him under the car in the street, fortunately men working at a produce mill nearby heard his calls for help & lifted the car off him, Dad was in his sixties & very experienced at working on vehicles, just complacent I guess, fortunately Dad was ok just shocked & little bruised. Bruce is always telling our 26yr old g’son to put extra support under his vehicle when working under it.
We were pleased to here that our new neighbour has organised to have 7 large trees removed from his property, 2 of them overhanging our house $17,000, will be so good not having to worry about them falling on our roof & continually cleaning up leaves. Actually this photo was taken a few years ago, the trees are substantially bigger these days, we have recently had our tiled roof repaired, repointed & painted, very happy with the result good as new.
