G'nite & morning Dot.
Trina's going mad at the moment replacing existing plants with totally new ones. This morning we were in Bunnings, she picking out what she wanted & me, with the big, flat multi steering trolley for me to pick up 3 x different brands of mulchy stuff - each 50L -& weighing about 40kg along with 3 x 60L bags of what looked like chipped up tree bark or similar, weighing about 50kg.
So I had to load them onto the trolley then into the car where I managed a 15 min relax whilst driving home where I then had to unload & carry the individually out the back door of the garage & into the back yard where they were neatly stacked on a concrete area big enough take them all.
Phew! Now I can relax.
xx

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Must be the time for it, we went through the exact same thing this week except our order was 20 bags of 75lit potting mix, 2 bags of mushroom compost Black magic or something x 2, cow poo, pig poo and chook poo. Most was for AJ though. Today we went to see her newly installed kitchen then out the back to look at the garden. Ended up 4 hrs of pulling ivy, cutting stuff down, exposing pipes and in general totally exhausting us all 3 of us. She is working in town tomorrow so G and myself will be back there to spray the ki-koo-yu , chain saw a couple of shrubs. G will be doing the chain saw bit and the whipper snippering out the back. The professional garden person sent her a text at 6.30 tonight saying he has decided not to take on any more jobs SORRY. He was supposed to be at her place at 5pm to do the job. ANOTHER reject of the human race. I have left a message for another mob to call me so we shall see. Iam off to the bath and to bed early because I am knackered so take care everyone. Goodnight everyone x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Hope that bath has a big batch of soothing salts in it Dot. I reckon you and Mr G will have some sore muscles tonight xxxx
It's sort of stinky and rainy with times of just right temps. It feels more like autumn now, go figure.
I managed to get down to the shed today. I am happy with the pieces that I added some flowers and leaves onto. They have a bit more personality now. I put a couple of spiky looking bowls into get some bowl shape about them. They are happily slumping into their molds as I type, so tomorrow, I may even have some finished product for such a slooooooow week.
Our poor tenant was home from work this morning, so I asked was she ok. The answer I got amazed me. Her ex, has just sent her a summons to return the family dog to him by 4pm or there would be trouble. She has left the dog with her recently widowed mother, to give her some company and from what I gather the ex has no right to ever own another animal. So far the dog is still in her mother's possession, but this whole thing is so sick.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Agree Deborah one can’t figure our weather, it has been cool & tried so hard to rain the last week, overcast, very heavy grey/ black clouds, nothing much came down, although cooler is better than the heatwave conditions.
Dot you & George are always working, think you need to slow down & get away in the bus more relax & enjoy yourselves.

Deborah , her husb is an A hole and I would have my eyes on that dog 24/7 and not let it out of my sight, the guy sounds a bit suss to me. Hope your artwork turned out OK. G had gone to AJ's before I woke up this morning. When he came home he took the trailer back there for a dump trip tomorrow. I could NOT get to sleep last night, was thinking of getting up at 4am but the thought of doing some ironing put me to sleep.
I must admit I am aching all over after yesterdays workout but things have to be done so more of the same today = ouch
Planted some bulb things ? Blood somethings, and Scotchman's kilts I think? shall see what if anything comes up. Brian appears a lot better =more awake esp when I pick him up and take him outside where he hops on his chair and sleeps again when we have our cuppas
Off to bed e buys now ready for tomorrow. Going to be a hot day Monday 39 degs they say ?? Shirley yes we do need some days away but after a few Drs visits and AJ's a bit more relaxed with the crap the so called tradies are pulling they need to pull their fingers out and get their jobs done. Stay cool and safe on the roads. Goodnight everyone x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, hope you get some solid sleep tonight mate. I am going to suggest to our tenant that she has a chat with the legals at RSPCA. I know they can be horrible to deal with at times, but just having their name on her legal work, might be enough to scare the little shit off. xxxx
Shirley says it all. The weather is sort of improving, but still affecting me no end. I am just so tired and the flamin humidity is not helping.
I woke this morning at 10AM by some of the God squad, ringing the door bell. They wanted to "chat" . I told them that we do not do "chat here" and shut the door. I really felt like I had only just got down to some deep sleep. Oh well, got up anyway.
The shed had some nice surprises. The kiln has done a good job with the added bits, so now they are being bent over a couple of sandwich plate molds. The fancy bowls that came out, look pretty good and will be sellable.
Spent some time cutting fine strips to make a platter and will only get to really see it, once the glue is dried and I can put it into the kiln. I cut it from a lovely swirley pattern of red n whites. Then after cutting, it gets glued, upside down, on to a piece of clear glass. This way, when I flip it, the pattern side will face up and it will be capped with clear glass. It's the only way to be sure of it being food safe.
That's enough excitement for one day

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Deborah if the dog needs a holiday
Today was the same as yesterday hot and knackered and tomorrow will be hot but not knackered as I will be doing NOTHING. . Put an add on the local buy swap place for a male or female person wanting some hard garden work and got 3 women replies within 5 minutes, will pass on their ph numbers to AJ and she can decide. I planted some bean seeds a few days ago and they are poking their heads through already. Can't wait to see your latest artwork Deborah. I think Mr G has got his hernia back so call to GP is for tomorrow, it is retreating back into the groin with gentle pressure so as I said before here we go again on the old age woes. Never ending. Time for bed, Goodnight everyone x
