Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

They reckon it's going to be a hot one today, so I don't expect to make much progress on the motorhome. Hopefully, those mini 2 pole circuit breakers turn up today, been over 2 weeks since I ordered and paid for them, and they only had to come from Sydney. I'm guessing they didn't actually have them on the shelf and had to wait for them to turn up before they could send them on to me, so many online companies seem to operate like that these days.

Well our day turned ordinary. We were out the road, swimming Bandit in the lake, and the sky fell in. We both finished up wetter than the dog. Home, shower, cup of tea, all good now.
Bernie, I feel for you and Carol. I hope to goes as well as it can for you both.
Cheers

Good morning.
The only sadness at the funeral was that Graeme wasn't there to participate.
Shirley they are CMCA members but not on their forum, just for the insurance.

Coincidence We stopped in at my sons place on way home...one of our G/Sons turned up told him what we had been up to, and he told us that one of his workmates was also at the funeral...he lived next door to my mate and was first on scene...

And today my other mates funeral at Nundle NSW... condolences sent..

Back to normal...more fencing today plus try and mow the front lawn.
Thanks for your thought David.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning All.

Two Specialist appointments completed.

Eye Spec, no need for Cataract treatment or Macular. I just need to have Specsavers do a proper job on my glasses, appointment made for Thursday.

ENT Spec re voice hoarseness, nothing serious, just dry voicebox and told to take Nexium and drink at least 2 litres of water/day. After waiting 6 weeks to see him it was scheduled for 9:30 am and i was out of there by 9:40.

I just have to see GP tomorrow to get result of back scan to see what the problem is.

Good morning everyone, its a lovely morning here on GC. I hope it stays that way. Currently sitting in waiting room at GP's for results from all the poking and prodding done before Christmas. More poking and prodding tomorrow too. Not looking forward to that one. Sounds like everyone is doing medical stuff this week.
Safe travels everybody, have a top day.
Cheers

I was on Nexium but switched to P-a-n-t-o-p-r-a-z-o-l-e after roughly 12 mths, then dropped down from 40mg to 20mg/day and this seems to be an acceptable (to me) level as long as I don't go overboard on anything that would normally upset the system.
3 days without it is unbearable, wake up in the night choking, difficulty in regards to pain about 15 secs after I swallow (ulcerated oesophagus) and was all caused by excess use of anti inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen and V-o-l-t-a-r-e-n , prescribed by my doctor at the time as a relief from the motor vehicle accident injuries. Basically, it masked the injuries and destroyed my stomach, and gave the insurance company an easy out because the signs of the MVA injuries didn't appear for more than 6 mths after the accident, so they claimed it was an injuries sustained after the accident ......

The weather people said it was going to be cooler today .... it was well over 40*C here yesterday, the motorhome with both the air con running a big box fan, couldn't get below 33*, but the difference was instantly noticeable when I opened the motorhome door. It already feels hotter than yesterday now ... so much for being cooler

On the trip to the post office and the yard, the Prius said it was 38* driving into the wind, but that went up to 42* when the car was parked, both in central Mannum and in the yard in Upper Mannum  Back in the house now with ceiling fans and air con running and it's holding around 25*, so, better than outside 8-)

The mini circuit breakers, neutral links and spade terminals finally arrived at the PO in Mannum, ordered 30/1 left ROCHEDALE SOUTH QLD • Thu 8 Feb, 4.12pm, so Aust Post was the fastest part of the whole operation
Too hot to consider installing them in the motorhome today, maybe tomorrow
