Dot, glad that you know some handy peoples. Is Gman's hand any better? Be thinking of him too xxxx
Hope the eye surgery went well George.
Last night was too hot for the kiln. It shut down with an overheating warning. Just as well. The piece is looking a bit too dark for my liking. The posty timed his run well. He arrived with a package from Croatia with lots of tiny glass flowers inside. I placed a few bright flowers onto the dark piece, along with some lumps of clear glass to thin the darkness out and it's back getting fused again tonight, Should be no problems because it's much cooler.
I think I may have had a sort of win with the solar mob. They gave me a refund today, but along with the suggestion that it may take up to a month for their system to have the money in my bank account. It felt a lot like them saying, the cheque is in the mail. Later in the day, they sent me an email stating how they will work out some compensation for the times that we have been without battery backups. They are suggesting the time should end today because they have sent me a refund for faulty battery. I sent a reply in my best legalise. I told them that their choice of date was an insult because there are no batteries available in the country that will work with my current inverter. I do have an expert working on a solution, but they will need to offer better than a couple of hundred for all of the stress they have caused us. LG have a f**kbook add running to get people to have their batteries checked. I look at it often and have seen several people who claim they have had LG replacement batteries that have died within a month of them replacing the original batteries. Any time that I have put an honest comment up, it disappears almost as fast as the dead battery people do. May be a good reason to avoid buying anything from that company, but that's only my thoughts. Sorry for the rant, I am sure you are sick of my battery issue as much as I am.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Who has watched "Botched"? Those yanks are so F.IT.H. with their plastic surgery manias, and the thing is they really think they look gorgeous not freaks that we see?? I wonder whom they vote for???
My G's hand has improved but still a bit sore. He has his ultrasound on Thursday for the hernia. George went to sign up for the "My aged care " and bugger me turns out we are already signed up. Can't remember who or when that was done. STILL waiting for the "Super vet" to get in touch with us re Brian. We had 4.5 drops of rain this arvo. Shirley I hope Bruce's eye settles after that bleed and you get to have a game on the weekend, got to keep up with them ready for the champs later this year. Has anyone ever heard of putting baking Soda on your meat for 10 minutes then rinse it off before cooking it? It apparently makes the meat very tender. Deborah might be time to get onto the TV about your solar woes, they seem to be delaying things. The world is full of rip off A holes. Off to the shower so Goodnight everyone x
Goodnight NC George hope your eye improves. x

Dot, I only got action when I suggested it was time for ACC to become involved. Chinese cooking steak pieces or slices, coat with a small amount of bicarb wash off after ten minutes. It does tenderise the meat, but I feel the taste is different too. When using a big slop of Chinese sauce and veg on top, it's pretty good. xxxx
Shirley, hope all goes well with Bruce's eye.
Spent yesterday and this morning packing the van and driving the huge distance of 27kms to Belmont, for a long-ish weekend with our jayco mob. It is so hot and the air con is not the best, so all windows are wide open.
hope you all sleep well xxx

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Thanks for that info Deborah, never know what to believe on FB these days. I won't be doing any meat eat eating for a while, Had a lamb steak and salad for tea but after 2 minute bits of meat YEP it would not go down and all hell let loose, nothing was working, back slapping, big hugs from the back, water, coughing, fingers down throat, finally got rid of it from coughing so custard was my meal tonight. George is not the best for "help" so next time he is to do what GP told us and that is call the ambulance. Scary shit I tell you. Will be seeing GP Friday so will get her to let the neck man I will be asking for the throat dilatation asap. Now it is getting to the stage of being scared to eat anything when I am on my own. Brian is the same and still NO word from any vet. AJ's arborist friend is coming around here to inspect and prune out fruit trees next week, maybe we shall get fruit next year? Air con went on at 2pm today and the birds had their misting fan on. Enjoy your time away with your Jayco mob Deborah and Shirley take care of your Bruce. Goodnight everyone x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Deborah I have been offered by the neck man if ai wanted him to do the job but to be honest i am a bit hesitant as things can go wrong and it can also come back but I am thinking it is time for me to be brave and get something done so I shall ring his rooms tomorrow and get a day to see him . I had scrambled eggs for tea and strawberries and icecream for pudding. I am very sore around my ribs and the throat also sore but it will be better soon. Then there is the G man and his hernia maybe we should have out ops at the same time in the same hosp and Brian could come in as out therapy cat? Would you believe I slept all day until 4pm? yep 4pm. Just so dam tired. Taking a heap of plants to the op shop before the GP visit. Time for bed again so Goodnight everyone x
Goodnight Chuck x
Sorry about the hard but necessary decision you had to make. xx

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Blimey what a day, started with a ph call to G's GP after we got a message to ring him. Did that and it was just to report on the u/s and blood tests and to say he has sent all results and his ref to the gut man. so now we know he does have a hernia doh!! Then off to see my GP. saw the nurse and she did my care plan, I just asked for physio.
Rang the vet again re Brian and still no news, we rang again at 5pm and still nothing but she said she had been trying all day for some info. . At 9.30pm tonight we got a text from the vet for us to ring her in the morning for news of Brians X/Ray. I am now expecting the worst (osteosarcoma) but hoping it's not. I wanted to put an order in for a couple more crepe Myrtles as the fb page said he was shutting down I sent a message saying thank you for his service and I would miss him. Got a message back from his wife saying he had died a few mths ago, Another one off the perch, can't go very long between this happening = age. As long as everyone here is ok then that's fine. Goodnight everyone x
