Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good afternoon All.
Terry, can you see Margaret and yourself heading off on a drive in the MH any time in the future?

Within the week, have to do the shake down trip to Mt Gambier, then fix all the bits that shake off ready for the Taggerty trip and extended trip after it while Margaret flies out to Germany to her daughter's party wedding (strange set up in Germany) and becomes an "Oppenheimer" and hopefully doesn't still hate me for taking her mother away from her control and develop an atomic bomb to finally get even

Good morning everyone, I am over tired and can't sleep. When does Margaret fly out and when is she back home?

Morning everyone and sleepy head :D
Bugga all rain yesterday and the temp didn't make it to 30...that's a first for awhile.
I took the curtains of the bi-fold doors in the motorhome to be washed...and with them off I gained enough width so when the new fridge arrives it will fit in...bonus.
Also the new microwave arrived in the mail...another bonus.
Carol went swimming with her mates...I stayed home  :D
I watered all the garden and vegie patch...the rain we have been getting isnt getting down to the roots...would you believe it rained while I was doing it.
that's it folks.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

I think I've tricked the weather gods with this talk about solar panels and taking the air conditioner out, it's cold and sprinkling rain  Glad I climbed on the roof and layered some of that Soudal self levelling sealant goop along the edges of the join to the fibreglass front section. Very runny stuff, hopefully it will seep into any gaps there now and any future gaps that appear as the body twists.
Margaret picked up the fibreglass mat and resin yesterday, so maybe that's the reason for the cold and now rain falling

Good morning.
Crazy weather for sure...temp just made 30 here yesterday...with a wind that would blow your dog off a chain..
So far this am there is no wind.
I almost seen the Brolga's yesterday tantalizingly close I estimate not much more than 20 yards from me...but the foliage to thick to see through...bugga.
I did come across a small mob of wallaby's, they have been hard to see as well, with so much green grass around they have no need to come close to civilization.
Will see what todays walk will bring.
And I think I have found away to get power wiring through the roof of the motorhome...just a thought at the moment...but may work...more about this later.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

"tanks" here---
BernieQ it appears that everyone else is still in bed this morning.
The Wylie temp is 20 degrees, and nothing else to report.

Good morning everyone. Some of us get up early Keith, but rush off to do a bit of paid work. Necessary, but not what I want to do for too much longer.
The weather here has been rainy, windy and up to 30° during the day but good or sleeping. Today is another copy and paste of much the same.
No brolgas here Bernie, just lots of little swifts or swallows, bit hard to tell if they don't land.
Enjoy your day everybody, safe travels all those out and about.

Edit. Fixed my spelling error. Freudian slip maybe.

Been busy doing the last bits of motorhome stuff, on and off, a tad warm here again today, but not as bad as it's been. The latest is trying to find out why the inverter isn't powering anything, yet the green light is on ..... after my sandwich and coffee ... maybe

Did a few mods to the awning anti flap end rails to make them easier to hook over the bracket on the motorhome wall and drilling new holes in the drum for the pin end so the rail runs parallel with the awning material .... still a bit at a time assembly to get the awning under the motorhome end rail under the flapper stopper, then put the second half rail into the top half, get the awning material under the flapper stopper bit, then open it out till it slides the pin into the drum, then lock all 6 anti flap locks down .... and move to the other end to repeat the process  A PITA but it does seem to work, more practice and it'll become second nature and only take a few hrs

haha.... I like it!
We have a few "shallows" here too! (on our committee!)
I'm guessing you meant swallows?
We in the Marina have them nesting under our boats on the pontoons etc.
Once they hatch out they hang around for months till it's time to head off to the Northern Hemisphere.
Hot days, windy days or mostly every day they camp on our side fences & crap all over the decks!
Glad they aren't pelicans tho!

Is there any diff between "Fairy Martins" & "Swallows"?
