Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

"tanks" ---ust saying Hello to you all.
I'm off to the GP this morning to have some renewal of scripts, so it is an exciting day for me.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Arvo Just picked the lad up from hospital. He had a lovely suite for his stay, the usual bed, 2 chairs, a lounge (couch) bathroom and a lovely balcony with 2 chairs, very niiiice indeed. They gave him the usual pain meds/ script on discharge , you know the big bombers, but I now refuse to get them as most of the time you don't use them and like me I have a draw half full of OxyC, Morph, and Tram. The other good stuff I gave to the chemist. So as soon as we got in the door he wants a cuppa and food so back to normal  He is now on his chair and pondering the age old Q, what is life all about? I have already done more washing and I am buggered from getting up early again  . Have a good day .

Trip to Adelaide with the mate who is over from Melbourne. Picked up the solar racking and aluminium angle to mount 6 x 250w panels behind the rooftop rattler, over the toilet and shower vents and finish before the exhaust that sticks out of the roof. Rough calculations say I should get around 40 amps @ the charging voltage for the 24v lithium battery and that would be enough to run the air con constant while the sun is out, or more than double the draw of the new unit I want to fit ....
Tried changing the two solar panels from parallel to series, but that resulted in the sun hiding behind the clouds every time I went to check what the max charging current after the change
Today's project, install one of these 250w Tindo panels on the mate's roof-racks on the ute canopy and wire it to the Enerdrive DC to DC solar input ......

The Bend drag racing is on Friday, Saturday, Sunday ... hope I can find a spot to park the motorhome in the camping area

Good afternoon Dot. Good to hear George had his op. OK. Sounds like he was looked after well. Had a bit of rain up here that has freshened things up a bit and a couple of nice days to follow it up. Cheers John

Get well George & take it easy.
Ironic you mentioned The Bend raceway Terry!!
Today a mate here in the Marina turned 60 so his bride shouted him a ride in a porche.
Got up to 260km/hr.
Anyone can do it but I must make it clear it has to be driven by a rally driver!!
Left hand drive too.
Pics on ph so give me a tick.

Good morning.
Yesterday was spent putting the motorhome back in order :D ...I was told to do it
I found that bit of petrified timber Shirley, Carol has some type of plant growing over it.
While cleaning up the motorhome I had a thoughty  the air vent above where the fridge is...if I ever get it...has a opening for hot air to get out...I have added a fan to said opening,,,so I can assist it's removal...it is on a switch so can be on or off.
The promised rain is still "coming"
one other thing I done was draw the wiring for the change over switch and put it behind the switch...just incase..
Hope you enjoyed your day Keith.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning, 17c predicted 23c, rain, heavy rain, severe weather warning for our NSW coast, so far we have just had constant rain, we’ll see what develops today.

Good chunk of petrified wood Bernie, my log sits with pot plants on the deck, 35cm long, 17cm diameter at the big end & very heavy, also have a smaller chunk in one of the big pots, another piece from my sister.

Good morning All.
18* and drizzling rain with 25mm forecast.
Hold on, it has just atarted raining heavily.
I have found a water leak in a cable leading to my solar controller, it is leaking from between the insulation and the conductor. :? I will now need to investigate when and if it stops raining.

Learnt to drive in a Porsche, when I was 16, Bruce had a silver Porsche & a Triumph Boneville when I met him, actually have a photo of the speedo with me driving doing a 100 mph, we certainly had great times travelling around in & on both.
