Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

I’ve been cleaning up the garden, not as much work since we don’t get all the leaves from the late trees next door.
I rescued this orchid off one off the trees, pleased it survived & didn’t end up in the chipper.

That is A VERY NICE CYMBIDIUM ORCHid.

Jugiong was pretty busy on Wednesday arvo. Was going to say, stop in at Benalla S/g, there is one or two power points there. So long as the old caravan isn't plugged into it.
When will you arrive at Taggerty?

Probably Wednesday morning Dave. I will spend some time erecting the gazebo etc.

Keith, pleased that I rescued the orchid, it was on a tree trunk next door, I planted it in orchid potting mix, some months later voila, beautiful flowers.
I don’t know anything about them, there are several old stalks I was wondering if I should just cut them off ? You can see a couple of them behind the flowers.

Travel safely everyone on your way to Taggerty, wishing you all an enjoyable weekend, have fun :D

Good morning.
Not much happened yesterday, was a quite one for a change.
I did remove all the scaffolding from around the motorhome and packed it away...till I need them again...
Carol had a win at bingo...but no gossip
One thing I did do was fill the mower up and was just about to start it when the sky fell down...almost half a inch...mowing put back till today...maybe.
Safe travels Dot and Mr. G
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone. Its another fresh sunny morning from Lake Mulwala. It wasn't supposed to be that cold last night, but the clouds rolled away and the cold stuck in.
We will hit the op shops today, might find what I'm looking for. Or not. Nothing else too exciting on the agenda. Will go fishing if I get a chance.
Safe travels everybody, have a top day.
Cheers

Rained all night here and still raining, at least everything is turning green after a pretty dry summer for us. So my day is stuffed and all the things had planned are out the window, may have to do nothing until the rain clears, which won't take much effort.

Shirley, leave the old stalks for now, they won't hurt to remain until you repot the plant in another year or so -
You may cut the flowering stalks and have them in a vase inside the house. K

Thanks for the advice Keith, I have the orchid inside at the moment.

Pleased to report I played bowls today, played as a skip in pairs & we won, only played 20 ends, the heavens opened up at about 12.30, very enjoyable game, rain is predicted for the rest of the week locally.

We went paddling on the weekend on the kayaks, we found what appears to be petrified wood stumps of trees, found 2 some distance apart, fossickers site told me that they are old wharf poles, to far from one another to be a wharf, anyone on here no if they would be petrified?? Certainly appeared to be stone
