Mens Sheds

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

No, Bruce.
You’re confusing Men’s Sheds with the Carpenters’ Union.

Everyone took notice of your request NOT to reply with!!

Nope! Not me! They reckon you have to at least amputated one finger to be eligible??
What about part of a number of fingers that adds up to a total area of the pinky finger? Just loosing the pinky finger from the non dominant hand doesn't even out the playing field for those that have lost digits while working ;)

If women go to the same shed as the men it is regarded as a community shed. We are getting a few womens sheds around now. Bruce an amputated finger is not a requirement but it shows the workers
cheers Phil

Both Rutherglen and Corowa have Community Men’s Sheds.
Both have voted NOT to admit female applicants to membership.
State & national HQs have left it to each Shed to decide whether they admit female members.
As the concept is a men’s health initiative, Men’s Sheds are exempt from the anti-discrimination laws, in the same way that women-only gyms are exempt.
