I'm surprised young Peter (Petels) hasn't remarked about being what you eat .... about all he could attribute to that saying is round I hope I'm as fit as he is at that age, Ballarat Bill and Lesley would be in that category as well, they are hobbling a bit after having worn out joints replaced, but they both seemed to be recovering well and in good spirits and health. We all shared a roast pork dinner from a well known carvery take away the night we were there, so they didn't seem to have any aversion to any food group, another example of someone I'd like to be as healthy as at that age .... too many things damaged to be as agile, even at the moment, but health wise, what every they are doing works well for them.

I'm off to the COVID capital... Bundaberg Carol's car is due for a service...I will be wearing a mask .
Yesterday was just farting around the garden and shed. Plus a trip to get stuff from the chemist
Not much at all happening...
As Terry sed...on my phone it did look like wheels.

Re Hoyas:
Ours (brought from Melbourne in the move) are in pots against a brick wall facing South, under the protection of the back veranda — a similar position to their home in Melbourne.
They receive an occasional watering, and have continued to grow, reaching the eaves.
A cutting from one was potted up and placed against a brick wall under the carport, which faces East.
When planted 2 years ago it was a single branch about 3ft tall. It has now covered its trellis (18” x 10’) and reached the carport ceiling, which is 12’.
So it seems a partially sunny spot under shelter is the ideal position for Hoyas, and it doesn’t seem to matter which direction the sun comes from.
Just remember to water it but don’t drown it.

Outside temperature in Rutherglen has rocketed up to 11*, from an overnight 1.8*, so I’m sitting in my comfy chair in a north-facing bay window enjoying the sunshine from a cloudless sky.
Today’s agenda (if I feel like doing anything at all) is to start gathering together the smaller power tools and lathe tools & accessories in my PlayPen on the new shelving unit installed yesterday.
It’s a tough life, but someone has to do it.

ps. Nigel says today in Rutherglen should be partly cloudy until it clears around 1700h.
The only thing intruding on my clear blue northerly view is two vapour trails from aircraft on scheduled flights, one to Albury and the other to Sunshine Coast Airport.

Man sez 12 pu outside.... guess he doesn't live in Degilbo .
Car all serviced up...it's first since buying it...was impressed with the service people... full report on everything...it needed new wiper blades...so it now has them.
I didn't get back home till lunch time...so that was the day over.

The early morning in Horsham dropped to -2C glad the diesel heater is working well
Todays effort, to get over yesterday's effort mostly, might put the drivers side overhead cupboard back together, given up for the moment on the cameras, not the outcome I had hoped for after spending over $1,000 ..... Think I'll have to go back to my original idea of two cameras on each side, but maybe a narrower view angle, 150* seems to loose to much clarity of depth.

Terry I gave up a long time ago on trying to get a camera that does what you want it to.
I've got two on the boat.... one to see the water pee from the outboard telltale & the other to watch for boats coming from behind. The water one is good but a houseboat 50 m behind me looks like it's just leaving the Whitsundays!!! I turned it down so I can watch people fall off the back of my boat!!

They look good to replace the single square rear view camera I have now. Unfortunately, they are all blinded at night by the headlights of cars behind. One day they will make an auto light adapting camera small enough to do the job and at a price I could afford.
An old phone camera would probably work well, but they only seem to hold the image for a few seconds, maybe on video with some method of transferring it live to a monitor up front .... my head is starting to ache just thinking about the complexity

Good arvo,
Twas great to do the trip to Loxton for lunch with friends but it knocked me for 6. Went to bed around 9pm and slept right through Thursday until this morning (8 am) put the lamb shanks in slow cooker and headed to Birdwood to see my GP, she gave me the super dooper flu jab and a blood form request. Gman has been a bit off colour yesterday and today cough and the squirts Covid = Neg. Dam cold and the fire is doing it's thing. Copyus later
