Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning Bernie, David & Members, BOM tells me 7c feels colder & a max of 19c, we have a family of black swans this morning feeding around our jetty looks like they are enjoying breakfast.
Been awake for hours, to cold to get out of bed :?

Visited the Mater hospital yesterday, many people wearing masks & masks out in the corridor again not compulsory again yet :? even on this small forum Covid is rampant, get well everyone.
The new test kits, test for flu too.

Interesting the report on the NDIS scheme I believe this is exploited by more than 5% by actual people receiving it, not just the businesses operating it.

I've been given a new project at home that is wearing me out. We are getting that false timber flooring to replace the carpet in all the bedrooms and the hallway. The plan is to empty all the rooms and cupboards then remove all the skirting boards and architraves so the new stuff can go down. It's going to take me a while, the old knees aren't what they used to be.
Bernie, what are you trying to measure with your scan gauge thingo? Has the new one turned up yet?
Stay safe and warm everybody. Happy hump day.
I want to see what the inverter is doing Dave.

remove all the skirting boards
Dave
I thought you could leave these in
A colour matched quarter round is then installed to cover the expansion gap that needs to be left
I have found getting the skirting boards off without damaging them and the walls challenging - then the touch up painting

Dave, we used loose lay vinyl planks here, no need to remove skirting etc, just lay the planks against them.

George, the mob doing ours say that the skirts all need to be removed. So does SWMBO. So, lucky me gets to remove them. We are getting timber, not vinyl. Apparently we are putting in skirts with a different profile.

Brian, how did you get the house boat up the driveway?
That's simple Jon, he just got a huge run up across the lagoon off the main river. Probably helps that the driveway has been recently altered.

Shirley that is a lagoon or back water to the Murray, photo taken from their frnt verandah. Bit hard to take but wont complain. The trees at the back is the river. Jon I decided to leave the boat in the marina an came up on my scooter and trailer. Will do another run today to get some tools and the things I forgot or did not have room for.

Yep, laid on top of the floor with extra edging. If to tight, the bow and buckle in the heat/cool. Very slippery for dogs, lots of rugs needed.

Both Vinyl and full wood boards. Although the wood one are in the bus, so the bus could be moving as well.
