It's a drop toilet Jim....so yes,it is working. Gravity still exists.:D

Those rails with the spring loaded end could possibly be curtain rod ends, available from any stores that sell curtains.

Then that must be new - the times that I have been there it was a flush toilet (over near a water tank) but it was not flushing.

Yes was a septic toilet but I guess when you get at times 30 or more using a septic toilet???
Like Rocky Creek, Tolga nth Qld last year 60+ units using couple of septic toilets for days on end they just couldn't cope & there was a D.P. locally.
