Progress report:
Today we took the girls for a walk around what used to be known as Lake King.
(Since the Shire of Beechworth spent $2m turning it into a ‘wetland’ rather than pay a local farmer $100,000 to repair the leak in the dam wall, locals now refer to it as ‘The Swamp’.)
I recorded the walk on a phone app. We covered 1.7km in 36 minutes. About 4km/h. Clocked up a smidge under 5,000 steps for the day — significantly more than my monthly average of just under 3,000.

Four km/h is not an unexpected pace when accompanied by two greyhounds who stopped every 10m or so for a sniff at something in a tuft of grass.

Still, I managed to complete the circuit without having to stop for a breather.

I did have a short snooze after, though.
Oncologist and treatment session in about 10 days, so more news after that.
