Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Morning all,

Boys are learning to drive. - interesting. Lucas drove across Melbourne yesterday. Was tired. Said he now understand why, when I'm tired from driving the bus, another hour to get home is out of the question.

Dave,
But I did wake up early this morning to hear someone gagging and snoring etc. Took me a bit to realise it was just me. Maybe the missus Is right, maybe I do snore

Might have to talk to the GP about sleep apnoea again. The dentist reckons he can cure it with a special mouth guard type thing.
I use one of those splints. Stops my grinding and cracking of teeth.(what left of them.) Took a little to get used to but I have a much better sleep. About $300. I got it all back on health insurance. About 2+ years old now. I need to have it replaced.

We are preparing to depart Grenfell to travel all the way to Yass. Apparently Young didn't meet expectations regarding free camp sites, so Yass it is ..... From there, maybe on to Canberra with the rig, maybe a day trip and return to Yass and travel on from there, yet to be notified by the minister for that ..... seems to have taken a few pages out of Scott Morrison's book and become the minister for everything except actually guiding the projectile ... hasn't said "I don't hold a hose" yet, so there is still hope

G'day. The old PhP has been giving me grief, since about 4.30 this morn.
It's a great day in Hervey Bay. Not much wind or cloud. Gets cool after the sun disappears though.
T1, there is a bit of a free camp in Yass on the north side of the hwy behind the shops. About half way down the main drag then turn into side street. Haven't stopped overnight there, but parked there a few times. Dunno that I'd stop there if there was a bit of rain happening though.
Safe travels everybody, have a quality rest of the day.
Cheers
David

Thanks Dave, we ended up at Boorowa, on the way to Yas from Young. A bit of time was lost when Mrs Google seemed to get Young and Orange confused' and we ended up travelling 20 + kms in the wrong direction ... well, that was the navigators excuse  I was just following the Prius .....

Arrived here, hankering for one of the great pub meals mentioned on Wikicamps, only to find the kitchen had a fire and no meals until ....... who know when .... so we had a pie and potatoes roasted in the air fryer and a can of pea and ham soup over the pie, certainly makes a quick and easy pie floater with roast spuds .... yummm 8-) ..... and we arrived before dark Lesley and Bernie, yet another rare event

Boorowa, is the most historical pub in NSW.
That's where we were on the last Satuday in Sept, 2017.

Which way are you heading? another good free camp at Farleigh Reserve near Cowra

Headed towards Yass and the Canberra to see my daughter (that still speaks to me) then on to Wollongong in multiple steps I'd imagine. I'd like to try the Braidwood rd through Nerriga to Nowra, but the last time we went that way the road was near non existent after all the heavy rain storms they had suffered, parts of the blacktop had floated/slid off into the scrub leaving massive holes in the road.
Maybe a venture from Braidwood through Mt Fairy to Tarago, the on through Oallen Ford to Tarrago and then on to Nowra, never been that way before ...... We have been down the road to Tarago from Gunning and on to Nerriga and down, that was an interesting drive through parts previously unseen.

Any idea where I could ask on the interweb regarding the current road conditions through that way? Maybe NRMA  :o but a different company to the insurance that uses the same name .....
