It's melanoma. On the roof of his mouth but down the back near the flappy thing. Harry the vet debulked it and offered seeing a specialist surgeon but recommended not to. He recommended to see what happens in a few months and maybe debulk it again.

Oh dear that is not what we were expecting at all. We decided no heroics for Brian either, while happy and enjoying life as they know it let them be. XXX hugs to Mr Phoenix.

Amazing where people, dogs can have melanomas, one wonders how Phoenix could develop a melanoma down his throat, hopefully debulking helps, how old is Phoenix Jon

Must have been very uncomfortable for Phoenix having that in his throat, hope it doesn't grow again and he has an enjoyable happy life. Still amazes me how they don't complain and handle themselves much better than us humans most times. Always sad to see a dog suffering even of they don't show it.

Off to the big smoke airport to drop Margaret, her son and his lady off for their flight to Singapore for a 7 hr stop over, then on to Munich to see her daughter and new son in law and first grand daughter .... and the party wedding of course. Margaret hates flying so she is a tad apprehensive about that part, 19hr from here to landing in Munich (12 hrs actual flight time) isn't something I'd enjoy either
