Time to get in the shed and build a harness and cart for the girls to tow the supplies back from the winery .... with a note for Joy attached to please pick Ray up from X winery or somewhere along the way back home

Don’t you mean “longer”?
Ya gotta allow for the meandering caused by wobbly boots…
BTW, just returned from a wander. This time we upped the ante and circumnavigated The Swamp. That means we walked 1.5km! Getting better. Stamina improving.
SWMBO had to call for TWO rest stops.

Well done Ray, how many rest stops did the 2 x 4 legged girls take?

Yes Ray, longer distance wise because of the one step forward, two steps back, wobbly boot rule. And slower, time wise, for the same reason. Regardless, it's good to hear you are improving on a daily basis.
Cheers

Every tussock of grass was a rest stop for the girls!

Despite the overnight minus 1, the afternoon has turned out clear and sunny.
Time to take the girls for their daily wander. You don’t ‘walk’ greyhounds, as there seems to be a Greyhound Law that says they have to stop every two metres (or shrub or rock) to have a sniff!
Just did another circumnavigation of The Swamp (with slight detour) and clocked up 1.6km, which is a slight increase on my last venture around the water of 1.5km.
Slowly, bit by bit, I’m adding to the distance I can walk.

So, do you think you'll be fit enough for a visit in a week or so? Should we drive you to Warrabilla or bring some of their fine Durif to you, so you can inject it into that liver problem

Ray, I'm not really sure about ' the rule of greyhound' , I think it is ' the rule of dog.'
So long as you are above ground, it's a good day, I reckon.

My brother turned 85 a couple of weeks ago. I rang him to give him a happy birthday...as you do...
He was driving...I asked where he was...in the cemetery he replied...
I asked was he picking a plot
No he said he was taking his two greyhounds to a monthly catch up with like minded people.
Strange place to walk the dogs
Bernie.
