Deborah, not good news from the MRI, Jon’s article is an interesting read hopefully you don’t have to have surgery & this cold weather wouldn’t be helping with the pain.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Another day in bed sleeping and pain. The bus batteries are back from being tested and Gman will be putting them back tomorrow after he has a dental check up. I will be seeing AJ for some more torture. I am beginning to think I might need a wheelchair or crutches to do shopping as I cant walk for very long. Then the bus to Murray bridge for the new door to be fitted. I knew that bowl was a winner Deborah. Don't blame you Shirley for not playing out in the cold. The BOB's have just 6 days to go and it is going to be tough through the Perrinis (sp) Watch out at the Olympics for Ellie Beer in the running. Bloody rotten news for Terry and Margaret and their house and MH all going up in smoke, just can not imagine how they are feeling, but they are fighters and will be ok in time as they are all safe. Goodnight everyone x

No one can see your post Dot except Admins.
They both have gone to bed now but not sure they'll get much sleep.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Up early, 3 loads of washing, silverside into dreampot for tea, changed the sheets, then off to the shower then to AJ's, she hurt me so I swore at her so she hurt me more
BOB's on the last 32ks going up the hills, going like the clappers all the way , spectators are rejects, the way they get right in front of the riders. I rang the caravan repair place and asked when to bring the bus over for the door, none like ours in stock and it will take 4 weeks to have another made or there is a very similar one just a bit smaller 3-4 mm's and that would be 2-3 weeks?? A country this size and the amount of RV's and they have to get one specially made in NSW. What if we were out in the never never?? They are going to send me the pics of the doors and I can choose which one. If you have to have your knee done Deborah get it done in the winter, much more comfortable than in the heat. Good luck Shirley .BOB's are just about to hit the big climb, 30degs and the climb is cat1 =9% -10.4% now 13% (Simon Yates from Jayco is thumping along) Ooooh a brown eye appeared
for a moment I thought it may have been ol Chuck but the eye was a different size. My Pog (the yellow jersey leader) just lit the afterburners on just before the top of the hill 3 ks to go down hill then another climb and the winner is R Carapaz, EF, Simon Yates Jayco but my boy the Pog is still race leader so now it is bed time. Goodnight everyone x
Goodnight Robert not Bob x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot you are really suffering from the post covid exhaustion. I can promise that it will slowly disappear. Lots of vitamins and sunshine wherever you can find it help too. xxxx
Terry and Margaret, you are in my prayers tonight. You really are not having a great time at the moment. xxxxxx
Thanks for all the advice Dot, Shirley and Jon. I have read through the full story Jon and printed it out to take to my physio next Monday. No harm in asking about it and if that works, way better than surgery in my mind.
I rang the specialist's rooms again today, only to find that they still haven't received the referral from the gp. Talked to gps office and had them resend the referral. Half an hour later the specialist's lady rang to give me the next available appointment in flamin September. I am hoping that the torture of the physio will be enough to get me back walking and able to do my favourite events. The ones in this half of the year are usually a lot of fun (and money too).
As Shirley has said, the cold here is pure frozen. It has snowed just a little bit up the valley at Gloucester and we are definitely feeling the edges of that.
Sweet dreams out there xxx

Good luck at bowls Shirley.
Stay warm and dry everyone. I wish this polar blast would bugger off. I'm not used to this cold anymore.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Slept all day (3pm) Gman put the house batteries back in the bus so if I get the motivation tomorrow I might just get out there and start the tidy up again. Might even go to Mt Barker and pick up my new glasses. Just noticed I really have to cut my finger nails, they look like a roosters Talens. Off to bed now I feel a nap approaching, Hope your bowls went ok Shirley. Keep warm everyone, hope all the sickies are feeling better. Goodnight everyone x
