Good afternoon, it was bowls Friendship Day, fun day to raise funds for our charity this year being MND, very enjoyable except for the freezing wind, really needed the thermals, long sleeve top, wool cardigan & bowls jacket zipped up to my neck it was good to catch up with friends from other clubs.
13c looking like we are going to get some rain this evening.

Not alot done yesterday, we did get visitors drop in... that was a few hours of gossip .
Phone sez 6 outside...I think it's below that...but...I'm not going out to check .
I might get to those chairs that need attention today...
I went to the chemise got my scripts...I went to the hardware store to buy some weedkiller... but they didn't have what I wanted.
I think it's easier to buy it on line.

Good morning everyone, from a decidely cool Warra, about an hour north of Tara. It is -2° here, but feels a lot cooler, so my phone tells my. I just know the grass is crunchy when you walk on it, and it's white. Looks like a bottler of a day coming up though.
We had an uneventful trip up here, so far.
Nothing much else to report.
Glad you enjoyed bowls Shirley, even though it was not a nice day.

Another day in paradise cold mornings but great through the day.
I finally got around to those chairs, now more secure than when new.
Another neighbour dropped in for a chat.... the buggers seem to know when we have smoko
Temperature outside is five at the moment heading to 22. Maybe another frost when the sun rises.
Nothing planned for today yet, I have a sore leg... don't remember what I done...to make it sore...

Ripper frost this morning and looks like a stunning day.

Phoenix is at the vet for a quick check up.

Update: all ok.


Went to buy some flee, tick etc tablets for the trip.

That will be $110 something. I ask if there is a better price. No, sorry that's the best.

So, I quickly entered it on google and press the shopping tab. $70. Needless to say she was pissed when I showed her and more pissed when she offered it for under $70. I have a deep seated mistrust of shops these days.

Same with my bus engine oil. One mob wants $200 something. The next new mob under $150.

Good morning everyone, even though it is still the middle of the night. It's hovering around 0° at the mo'. I'm not going outside to check for a frost yet.
This place is filling up fast. The only complaint I've heard is that the internet is very slow. I've tried to post a few pics during the day, to no avail.
Bernie, I patted a camel for you. They look after them a bit different to race horses. The big parade is on today.
Jon, the stuff I use for Bandit is always $170 or so at the vet. Usually about $40 cheaper at the pet food place.
I'm glad Phoenix had a good report.

Morning everyone.
I just went and looked at the temperature gauge 4 degrees.
My leg is a bit better this morning I still don't know what I done to it.
Didn't get up to anything yesterday.
I'm waiting for a delivery, when it comes I will share it with everyone.
It was supposed to come yesterday.
I had the same problem at the Teebar rodeo Dave no internet juring the day, but ok early morning everyone still asleep.
Something to do with wifi I was told

The shop wanted $120 reduced it to $60 when I showed her this advert.

btw, the vet didn't charge for the quick check up. Gotta love a vet who cares.
