Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Another wasted day, awoke at 2pm and nothing since, tv is crap and so is the weather. Man bringing the gravel for the little shed floor in the morning so that will give me a wake up call. Found a "scab" type of thing on top of Brians head in front of his ear, it may be the first sign of something breaking through his scull of which we have been dreading as this is one of the signs of osteosarcoma ?????? Will be visiting the vet for a check over. :( Cant be from a cat fight as he is never alone . Busy next week, This Sunday visitors from other side of Adelaide, AJ on Wednesday, Skin Dr Thursday and GP on Friday and maybe a visit to the op shop :D Hoping to get back into the bus tomorrow so off to bed after a hot shower. Have a good weekend one and all, stay safe on the roads if travelling, any sickies get well soon. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight RossP x :D

Gee Dot, you won't want to be tired next week then. Hope you manage to get to all of those appointments. Fingers crossed for Brian xxxx

Terry, thanks for the suggestion of victron, I did have a couple of looks at the webpage, but I have no idea what they are offering. Is it a way to connect the batteries to the web or do I have to buy their brand of batteries? I really am a bit dosed up on painkillers at the moment, so the fog I am looking through isn't helping either.

I have been trying to research a decent dressing gown for the horspital visit. I hate the things and the one here is at least 20- years old and looks like it. I finally found one at rivers, so off we went today to check them out. I bought one that will do, but really I am not impressed with the pathetic offerings on that department anywhere. Nobody had night attire that doesn't look like your old Aunty Madge would have worn in the sixties or something that would be appropriate in a brothel. Don't start me on baby blue or pathetic pretty pink. Who designs these atrocities?

After doing the rivers shop, we drove across the parking lot to a big vinnies. I finally have some fresh reading material. Now the boredom may be a bit easier with this stack of books for entertainment.

Nighty night xxx

It was more just the concept that Victron use, surely the battery manufacturer can adopt that sort of technology if they want to watch their battery performance, it is for their benefit not yours, so let them organise how to get connected to their battery .... no reason you should have to pay for that .....

Deborah try lingerie Temu :D ir just use hosp gowns. Is it your knee getting done and when?? And how long do you expect to be in hosp?? Nice day today, the man bought the gravel for the shed and even spread it for us. Did nothing much as usual just a load of washing and some plants potted for the op shop next week. came in and lit the fire and Gman is having wonderful 2 minute noodles for tea :D It was a toss up between that and eggs on toast. If you are watching the Olympics try to watch the Ozzie girls 4 x 100 mt relay, a friends grandaughter is in it her name is Ellie Beer so give her a cheer. Her first olympics. Sun has gone behind the hills and it has got rather sold so I will say an early goodnight everyone x :D Enjoy the show David keep warm and goodnight Shirley x :D

Good night Dot, you are an early bird, we are watching the Olympics, will definitely cheer on Ellie & relay girls.
The coloured guys seem to be winning all the heats in the running, just to good /fast, they can certainly make it look easy.

Managed to get the washing done & dry today, the sunshine was so good, the wind although chilly was no way near as freezing as it has been.

Good night everyone. 💤💤

back again, I went to sleep and awoke to see the boys on Bikes on and saw some of the men's races and oh boy are those black boys shiny big muscled bodies, the white guys look anemic compared ;) The Australian boys seem to be doing ok but with 98ks to go anything can happen. I like the purple track, different. The Fox girls are doing fantastic in their canoes etc. Better turn this off now because I most likely slip off back to sleep . Don't think much to Cadell Evans and his comparing , very droll but it is nice to hear Phyl Liggins again, he knows his stuff. Goodnight again x :D

Good suggestion Dot. I have tried many styles in temu, only to find they are made of 100% polyester (too sweaty for me) I did find a couple that were not too disgusting and were made from cotton. Hopefully they will be decent enough. Hospital will be at least 4 days, with op on Friday 6th September. Apparently the re-hab is done with several visits back to the hospital, not staying in for it. Your garden is getting a bit more care now that you are staying put. xxxx

Terry thanks for the advice. I will follow that up with my man. I think he is being too lazy to find the answers for himself. We are just another pesky customer, who may end up going elsewhere very soon.

The weather was so nice today, that I decided to venture down to my shed. It felt so good, just to be out there on my own and free to make some decisions about my works. I decided on a lovely black n white glass that I know is hard to cut, but it was needing a lot of strips to be done perfectly to make it past my eyes. Well the first 5 cuts all went bad. Not a single one made it straight to the end. The cuts were great, but when I tried to break them off, the strips went in all directions. Finally, the air con kicked in and the room was warm and the glass began to behave itself. I was just too keen. Anyway, the glass has been cut into strips and even the wonky ones are in place on the shelf to make a sandwich tray. Where the wonky ones look disgusting, I will add some lovely bright red squiggles. The wonky bits will look just as good as the plain parts.

Night all xxx

It's an early bedtime for us tonight. We left Tara just at around 12.30 and have made it down to just south of Dubbo. In a roadside R/A for the night. The Newell hasn't got much better since we last travelled it. A lot of roadworks going on in Dubbo.
