Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

We went to an independent optometrist, didn’t tell him about what had transpired, after he tested Bruce’s eyes he told Bruce, no good prescribing glasses for you, you need to have cataracts removed from both eyes, he sent us to an eye specialist to have same removed, after which Bruce had eyes tested again & new glasses prescribed which were good.
Unfortunately the beginning of this year Bruce had the massive bleed in his right eye causing wet macular degeneration, the eye is improving slowing after injections, still not good vision, he now has to have eyes tested again & new glasses.

Good news George, hope your door arrives Monday, wishing you & Julie a good holiday, enjoy.
Once my wet macular degeneration was brought under control, my vision gets better at each 12 week visit for the next lot of needles. Still waiting to get the left cataract done, the public system just takes so long between the visit that confirms the cataract needs doing and actually getting to get it done, but now the business is no more, the money just isn't there, nor the need to have it sorted as soon as possible, so I'll wait .....

Bruce is now on 9 weekly injections Terry, specialist told Bruce hopefully he will only need 4 per year, he will be on them permanently, they sure are expensive.
Bruce has good vision in his left eye, hopefully new glasses will help elevate the difference with each eye or at least make it more tolerable.

When you get new of anything you expect it to work, I'm going to ask for full refund .
John re Miss Evie it takes Brian over 24 hrs to do a pee in his bus loo and another 2 days to do a poop so Miss Evie is ok. Plus I take Brian out in his harness when it is quiet and the dirt is easy to dig. Try what litter she likes as well.
Shirley I had both cataracts done a few years ago.

Dot, Bruce had both eyes done within a couple of months privately, fortunately we are members of a health fund.

Private hosp has saved us thousands and thousands of dollars would not be without it for anything. No more than a couple of coffee and cakes pr week and that is great

Good morning.
Start of the weekend, apparently it's a long weekend up here...show holidays, sometimes I wish I was still working so I could have a holiday 🤣🤣🤔.
Yesterday I got the aircon off the ute, plus went and got the bricks.
I have started unloading them.
I will finish today...the ute rides better with a load on it😁.
Nothing planned really for today
I had a rock hit the Suzuki Grand Vitara not far from home, it knocked the cover off the driver side mirror cover it was large...I ducked 🦆.
Keep safe.

Bernie where did you buy the aircon from please.

Had to cancel the week in Berri as the hip started to affect the lower right back. Every step was agony and effecting my driving so best to stay home. Managed to snag an appointment with the surgeon next Wednesday so hoping to arrange surgery time then for the hip replacement.

Went to Centre link yesterday to apply for the pension, certainly is a do it yourself place and staff not interested in going the extra millametre to help. Best to every one take care cheers Robert.

Good morning everyone. It another bright sunny and rather cool morning here. No frost though, so that a bargain.
Enjoy your golf Jon, it's Covid that has sent the world mad, I reckon.
Robert, I hope you have more success getting the pension than I did. You spend hours/days filling out a 17 page form, and get a one line response that says, nup. Too much in super, apparently.
We are off to the hospital again.
Safe travels everybody, have a top day.
Cheers
