Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Is the black the sealer coat and the white that heat reflective stuff? Or is it all a rubber coating? Might need to skill Bruce up on the technique so we can get to roof on this Winnie if we buy it
The truck is getting closer to a road going vehicle again, the lights that melted have all been replaced, the parts where the paint burnt off are mostly patched with my special workshop broom painting technique and artistic "Bradman" style pressure pack spray job. Just a serious air leak to fix and a few fuel hoses that have holes melted in them ..... and that melted plastic mudguard piece that I can't seem to find anywhere maybe a used core flute sign from the local pub and construct something from that and glue/screw it on .... and a special pressure pack black paint job :D

Thanks for that info and link Bruce. We replaced the one that was in the Winny when we got it. Don't think it was original, but the thing we replaced it with was supposed to do a lot of things, but most turned out being fibs or just outright waffle. I will wait for your follow up report. I know it wouldn't have helped you, but sometimes you can use cable ties if those long 'key' strip's have been replaced.
Cheers

Left Collarenebri and arrived in Eumungerie, after a number of stops. Another stunning showgrounds camp.

Going to travel slowly to Cootamundra over the next few days. Diff is going ok.

What did you think of Gulargambone when you past through Jon, we found it a must stop and check it out spot, so unique ... but that was over 20 yrs ago so it might have changed a lot by now .....

Good morning.
Today I will start on the top coats on the little van...I have run out of rollers, so a trip to Biggenden coming up.
Not much else going on, Carol had the bore on most of the day, flood irrigating it's amazing how dry the yard is considering only a week or so back we had 155mm of rain ☔
That's about it for now...
Keep safe.

Good .... day everyone. Had a phone call this morning from the motorhome insurance mob .... they are getting their act together at last. Someone will be up Monday afternoon to put a written off vehicle sticker on it  Apparently, NSW rules and it must be done before the vehicle is moved.
Much to Margaret's relief, APIA retain possession, so I can't get the $$ for moving it and I can't take it to the yard and strip the motor/gearbox/diff out, so that ends the plan to buy the Mitsubishi Fuso in Murray Bridge and swap out all those bits .... who ever imported it and fitted it out didn't think to check what engine and diff it had. I was a town bus, not enough guts to pull the skin off a custard and took a few kms to reach 100km/h and max governed revs .... but it also required a down hill bit to get the last 5 km/h

Once they put the sticker on, they can organise a salvage mob to drag the bus remains away, then we can get someone in to remove all the house remains to eliminate so the risk of all those roof sheets becoming flying knives to destroy anything with the area.

Then, with a bit luck we can start to get life back on some sort of track. Looking for another motorhome might be part of that, but getting all the vehicles and trailers etc to the workshop yard will have to be the first job to take care of I guess.

So, the very first job is to organise a site fence, the house insurance has just dumped all of that on us now they plan to pay us out, we have to replace their fence or they keep charging us for the rental ..... at their price ...... NRMA ... we are there to help ...... yeah, right
