Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

:? I don't think there are any tree with leaves left on them over at the house site. I'm not game to go over to the house remains until this wind calms down, because I wouldn't be covered for injuries if something blew off or collapsed while I was there ......that is the reason for their fence.
What was left of the garage, the wind is progressively ripping the corrugated iron of the steel tubular frame, it's only going to be a matter of time before those loose sheets become twirling knife blades as the start their journey across the neighbourhood ..... We can't get anyone in to clean it up and cart all the corrugated iron sheets away until the motorhome insurance mob get someone out to remove those remains from in front of the house.

What has me concerned is, once we put our fence up, NRMA (the people who took over SGIC) will no longer have to hold the liability cover if any of the stuff does damage to people's property or physically injuring people. That is the sort of thing I would have thought the insurance was supposed to do as part of the cover .....

Terry, that's scary stuff. Maybe go very slow on the fence, at least until this horrific wind has disappeared. Let NRMA worry about it a lot longer.

Are you using an up to date covid test?. The ones that we used were covid and flu combined. Hope you are well very soon. Fingers crossed that all goes well.

Good morning.
I checked the plans of the aircon... and your right Bruce...it says to put the outside bit outside and the inside bit inside... thanks 😁😁.
Trying to catch up with my grazier neighbour to see how high his new tractors bucket goes that would be a great help... maybe...
The kid's will be on the move this morning, the road to Queenstown has opened... they will be going to Cradle mountain. They have cancelled some of the trip to get back inline with the planned itinerary...it snowed on and off most of yesterday... first time They have been in snow ❄️. Also they found out the advantages of cash...no power no EFTPOS.
I have two neighbours lined up if the tractor doesn't eventuate, but I still need more perusing of the plans... till it sinks in 😁😁
Carol didn't win 😡
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Good morning everyone, the wind has stopped, now it's just cold. Would be a good day for golf.
Nothing much planned today. Not much to report either.
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers

Morning all.

Am at Cootamundra today. Playing golf with my old boss and then heading further south.

So windy, it blew the leaves off the trees on the hill.

Good morning 11C clear blue sky with SW breeze, prediction 17c certainly a cooler day, at least the strong wind has abated.

Wouldn’t be many social bowlers today with most of the ladies playing pennants so decided to stay home plenty to keep me busy, still Covid & flu doing the rounds.

The weather hasn’t been good for the kids Bernie, good that they are still able to get about & enjoy themselves, looks cold. 🥶

Enjoy your catch up & game of golf Jon.

Yet another negative Covid test, they are supposed to be the latest and greatest.
10:30 Doctor in Murray Bridge, then Adelaide for the Jimny parts and a black plastic mud guard to try and shape a replacement for the melted one.
If I still feel like I do now, it will be back to bed when we get back.

Top of the morning everyone.
Good picture Jon.
The rug rat's made it to Cradle mountain, daughter said it was a scary drive, slipping and sliding.. snow over a foot deep, she now call's the car a snow sled 😁 it's a MG3... same as tanks...
Dave I nearly called it quits on the new aircon...BUT...a simple little thing trying to get the face off the control thingy, the bit you aim the remote at...4 little clips...no information in the manual grrr...as how to remove it...I managed with the help of herself after several attempts, it's now off...more to come...
Our friends that come up from Melbourne each year, have set up in the Biggenden CP, so we are going to catch up today...me thinks a pub meal coming up 😁🍻
That bloody wind has finally arrived here 😡😡.
All for now.
Keep safe.
Bernie.
