Terry,
Either way, you're very welcome to visit!
I'll have to consult SWMBO on available dates, as Son-&-Heir is visiting with his partner sometime this month for a coupla days.
At least Girt's (former) slab is vacant, so you'll have somewhere to park with power & water if required. :)
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Well, well.
It’s been some time since I posted an update on my progress after losing 10kg on the operating table.
I’m back to my old self — nearly.
I’m consistently about 5~6kg under my old weight, despite regaining the will and capacity to eat a normal-sized meal.
I’m able to mess about with wood in my Playpen, at least for about an hour, after which I have to come inside and sit/snooze for a while.
I’m off the opioid painkillers, so I can safely operate my lathe and drive myself when needed. SWMBO can now get to sit in the passenger seat… after nine months of being my private taxi driver.
However, (there’s always a ‘however’) there IS some bad news.
My liver specialist has pulled the plug. He said the metastases in my liver are problematic. One is accessible but too big to cut out as it would leave me with insufficient liver to survive long, and the other four are inaccessible. When I asked if radiotherapy was feasible he said no… for the same reason.
Also my cancer count has continued to rise, stubbornly refusing to decline with the immunotherapy until last month! It’s now dropped below the trend line, but higher than my oncologist wants and expected.
He is “withholding a prognosis” until after my next PET scan later this month.
Meanwhile the immunotherapy will continue… 🤞🙏
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Take along a bottle or Warrabilla Jarif and tell him you want to share it with him, for each glass he has, inject a glass full into the stubborn spots in the liver ..... maybe get him to train up his assistant to do the second, third and if there is enough left, forth glass ....... repeat the process each week until the liver comes good ..... even if it only prolongs the treatment period till you get the telegram from the King ;) After that, tell the doctor your not sharing any more good wine with him and you'll self administer the treatment from the inside

All jokes aside, hope they come up with a fix for it Ray, you've battled all your life with this menace, you can't let it win now

What a bummer Ray, when I called in to see you a week ago yesterday you appeared the best I had seen you for quite some time, particularly when we were connecting your caravan to the car. Hopefully your health will improve just as it has in the past.
