Good morning.
After brekkie yesterday I climbed up onto the roof of the motorhome and cleaned it...it's now ready for the new aircon to go up. That should happen sometime today...
I'm not sure if I have to cut the hole rewards or move solar panel forward... reward I have a roof beam
...
Nothing much else done... bit more cleaning up my shed was about it.
Sooo looks like T1 has/will be a winny owner

The kids spent most of yesterday in and around Launceston checking out the sites.
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning 13c prediction 23c today sure is crazy weather, breeze from the west & only a ripple across the lake.
Early start for us, we are off to the eye specialist for Bruce’s eye injection, he needs to get new glasses, don’t think the problem eye will improve anymore.
Terry you need to buy a MH that is ready to travel, you don’t want to have to start working on yet another project or you’ll never enjoy travelling our amazing country with Margaret IMO.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. Its another fine day here at Mulwala.
Bernie, I'd move the solar panel. Leave the roof brace intact if you can.
T1, can you get the heads off that beast without dropping the motor? Those Triton heads are notorious for failing according to a few US websites. I had to change the airco compressor on our Winny a few years back. It was any fun. No room to do anything. Couldn't get the airco guy or mechanic to do job. So did it myself.
We are going over to Cobram and Tocumwal today. Will try to find out what has happened to Wayne and Nini.
Safe travels everybody.

Re: Good morning daily
Getting the engine/gearbox out of the bus is a 1 week job these days.
Goodness knows how much it would cost me if someone had to do it.... plus there are a few tricks that need to be known; when to twist, when to push, where to put the strategic porta power wedge to rock the engine to slip past a blockage.

Re: Good morning daily
A little bit. More about helping with the physical part.
Lucas will soon have his turn working on his car. Josh will be ok. He's just finished his "systems" project for school. Had to build something.
He built a remote controlled "seeder". Most of it his work, with some coding and 3D printing (tracks) borrowed from the internet. This is part of the new STEM streams that are starting in high schools these days. All laser cut and printed at school. He's learnt about CAD design, electronics, Arduino micro computers and coding. Micrometers, etc etc. Although.... he's now learning about voltage drop, (and that good old Dad still has the answers when he's stuck

Wow, that looks really good & sounds very interesting, I’ll have to show that to my 14-16 year old g’sons.
Bruce has been cutting & replacing a gasket in his compressor, Nathan the 16 year old was very interested in the procedure, compressor needed for air in the push bikes
Nathan is learning to drive, he has 2 more years at school.

Re: Good morning daily
I remember in the C++ TAFE course, a pass relied on the car navigating the test track on the work bench within a set time and without running off the road .... a crash off the work bench was an immediate fail, so the trick was to go around slow with a support team ready to catch the thing if it made a right turn where it should have made a left turn
I would have loved to have all that tech to play with .... at any time, but while still at school .... why would anyone want to leave school
Negotiated a good price for the Winnie this afternoon, so we are the new owners ...... the price was good enough to cover the costs, even if the motor has to come out to do the job and 20 new valves and 20 hardened valve seats as well as the gaskets etc ...... the catch is, it seems that all the parts will have to come from the states ...... but we'll know more once the heads are off.
