Hi Dot, Mr filthy rich Jayco only sponsors people who should win! Glad the visitors are not interfering with your sleep. zzzzzzz xxxx
Today I went down to my shed, not expecting much and was happily surprised to see the product. It's looking like a sculpture, but as I rotated it, the legs at the back, were way too thin and could be dangerous. I took my trusty dremel with diamond coated saw blade and chopped off those legs and have it now, back in for another fry up.
I spent a fair while catching up with a good friend on the phone and then I needed a rest. I tried reading a mediochre book, but had a nap instead.
Obviously, a very non-exciting lair day.

Well I will be looking fora new hair dresser after today. Since my original hairdresser sold her shop 2 mths ago the price has gone up from $25 to $40, no shampoo, I washed my hair before I went so it was just a cut. That shop used to be full every day and was fun to be there . No rain had today or yesterday as we were told we would be getting ?? tomorrow maybe? Not long to go now Robert not Bob and Mottleemob so keep up the pre op physio. Hope all the sickies are improving. BOB's all finished now awaiting the next race. How did your blob turn out Deborah? Off to bed now so Goodnight everyone x
Goodnight Ray x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, not had a chance to get down to the shed today. Tomorrow will be the day, I hope. Get yourself a pair of thinning scissors. I just follow the line of where the hair was cut and start snipping, opening and closing all the way to the end of the hair. So not grabbing a clump and just chopping at it. I started to cut my own hair during covid and haven't stopped. xxxx
Today, I had the call to say the sparkie is on his way. So happy to see the solar sorted out finally. Annoyingly, it had so many things to check and countercheck that he was here for most of the day. He helped me to get onto the website for battery customers and made sure that I understood what to do with the phone app. He made sure that his web wifi connector didn't annoy my wifi dongle . All good there. Now we can access real time data and will be able to see for ourselves, where our solar is going. It's only been an issue since last March.
He finally left at just past 3PM, so I had just enough time to check my emails from the progress sechetary and get off to progress. Another busy meeting with community events and the new community garden coming around. I arrived home at 6 pm and was a total wreck. Been one of those days.
Hence no shed time today, but a good one all the same.

I have a pr of those sewing scissors that look like crocodile teeth, would they do???
Geeze, seen the Taliban's new laws on women? what the hell is this world coming to? Did nothing much today apart from having a look at the area that may become a RV park, sat in the sun for afternoon tea and played with the dog, then Fush n chups for tea and I am buggered so an early bedtime for me. Take care one and all. Goodnight everyone x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot a pair of proper thinning scissors won't cost more than $15 in the right shop. They are all the same so buy a cheap pair. You won't regret it, I am certain. Have a good sleep. xxxx
Woke up with a very fuzzy head, Drug induced not alcohol. So it was a very slow start to the day. Once really awake, I did pay the sparkies for the solar battery and sorted out a few more things.
Next was a wander down the yard to look at the blob. Some of the legs were not dropped to the floor, so it's getting another warm up tonight with even more glass added to slow it down. I didn't bother to slice off the legs and put them on top, so I almost expect to find a blob on the kiln floor tomorrow.
Chiro tomorrow, will make me feel a bit happier and unstressed. She is almost my psych these days and her massages are so amazing they almost put me to sleep.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Once again I was up early 10am, Our yard dwellers were all packed up and left the yard at 11am heading to Talem bend for lunch then onto Coonalpyn for the night. Had some good laughs seeing it had been 5 years since we got together, Did some washing, headed to AJ's for some torture, back home then planted my lone tomato. The roses are covered with those aphids again
All the activity of the past few days has really buggered me out so an early night is in order for me today. Had a call from HTFFBO this arvo and they will be arriving here Saturday so really looking forward to more laughs with my old mate. A little drizzle this evening but had already watered everything. Going to head off to do some shopping tomorrow but not getting out of bed too early either. Deborah I shall seek out those scissors you mentioned, hope your blob came right. ( 1 for the females)
Custard for pudding. Take care if on the roads, Get well to the sickies . Goodnight everyone x
Goodnight Chuck x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot I haven't been down to the shed yet. His nibs had a sneaky peep and says it looks good, but only the artist can make the final decision.
Sounds like you are in for some good fun with Helen soon, I love that idea. Take care crazy woman xxxx
Like Dot, today I had a chiro appointment. I finally had some hard copies of my knee xrays for her to inspect. She went over every bone and all the deformities and then asked me "how can you still be walking on that knee?" Painful, yes, but it can be overcome with a bit of persistance.
After chiro we crossed the border and went over to Toukley to the fruit market. It's changed hands and he has added a lot more rows of shelves of interesting products. I had to check them all out. Really, all that I wanted was some tomatoes to fry up for dinner and coat in cheese, served on toast. That might not be a dietitian approved meal, but hell, I have to break out sometimes. I noticed the fruit shop still sell the delicious lime aoli that we love and they had some big packets of Australian dark chocolate coated honeycomb chunks. Great after dinner treat. Yummo. (Good thing that I only bought three packets)
I think the extra walking in the fruit shop was enough to tire me, so his nibs did a lot of the prepping for me to cook the dinner. Apart from that I am stuffed,

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Went and did nothing today, was exhausted so will do it all tomorrow as have to be revived for the HTFFBO visit
Only thing I did was to plant my tomato plant. Hope you are feeling better Deborah and that the blob turned out ok. I am cranky at those "people" protesting in Melb and abusing the police horses. If they want to stop the war in their old country then go back there and protest, do not expect us to do it. Nothing peaceful about throwing urine and some sort of acid at the police. World is stuffed.
Hope our hip and knee patients are doing well. Off to bed now Take care everyone. Goodnight everyone x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Agree with you Dot. The protestors can take up their problems with the country that is causing them grief. What is wrong with people who have no respect for the police or their beautiful horses. Neither of them have caused the wars. Hope the rest day was good for you Dot xxxx
I finally found the energy to get down the stairs and go to my shed. The blob is looking amazing. It has colours and little trickles and rivulets in places that were very unexpected. Sorry for lack of photo. I am too stuffed to do that. Soon ok? I spent a couple of hours just sitting on a stool, using various machines to get rid of all the tiny dags on the edges of the blob. Not good if a customer rips big holes in their hands when they pick it up. The blob is so bottom heavy that it will not have a balance problem. I think this is the heaviest blab that I have made. I am really happy with it's individuality. Not bad for something that has had 5 nights of firing and each morning, has had to undergo cosmetic surgery before the next firing.
That was enough for me for one day. I even had a nanny nap this afternoon.

I think it's time questions were asked about the police using horses for such situation, putting those animals into danger rather than standing on their own two feet or using mechanical devices rather than innocent animals .... I think they had the right idea in Solent Green https://www.kqed.org/arts/13907576/soyl ... apocalypse
