Bugger it, pull the 3 sections of the dash out to trace the wiring  It goes everywhere, and all in that split conduit rubbish .... Google ..... first link mentioned the park brake applied  Apply the park brake .... bingo ... it all works again ..... I'll put the dash back together again tomorrow

I had a bit more than a chuckle when you said you looked in the owners manual. The wiring in any older Winnebago or Avida is extremely hard to follow. As I'm sure you will find out. And no wiring diagram exists.
Having said that, at all the house fuses are either in the main house fuse block or at the battery. All the original truck electrics in ours is still where the manufacturer put it, in the glovebox.
Unlike a lot of manufacturers, the wiring is fairly robust. Haven't yet heard of a crappy joint or a bad earth in a Winny yet, unless the owner has been fiddling.

Margaret is driving the Prius, so she gets to stop for "dog breaks" and she uses that time to roll a smoke and have a few rounds of what ever game she is playing at the time, on her phone ...... for such a small dog, it seems to take a long time for him to get his business sorted
The fact she can travel 10km/h faster and leaves before me .... I always arrive first and have to wait for her to do the caravan park office stuff and find our parking spot ...... the Prius still hasn't needed fuel since leaving the Illawarra, I wonder where I could find a 10 mtr motorhome that does 4 ltrs/100kms

Do the work on the MH at the shed site, at least it is flat ground and from what you say it most likely couldn't get up your driveway., sort of like dragging skin of a cold custard    Margaret is now your work supervisor.
And wife and SWMBO and minster for war and finance, so the view is the important part, I just have to adapt around it ;) :D The electricty at the caravan parks does a fine job of running the air con, the fridge and charging the batteries so the lights stay on .... and the pumps running and the coffee machine and microwave working ...... and the toaster and kettle and ..... just easier at the moment that way ..... and I hate the noise pollution a generator makes for those that can hear ..... particularly Margaret .... she will immediately comment about the generator noise when she hears it, even if I don't ..... and that is more annoying than a quiet generator let me tell you

Owner’s manual wasn’t much help when we lost the headlight flasher function in GIRT.
Auto electrician took the cover off the steering column to find ALL the wiring had been done with the same colour wire insulation. 🙄
Said it was probably done by the apprentice, and would take 3~4hrs just to trace & replace before trying to fix the problem!
We did without headlight flashing for the next 5 years we owned her. 😕
Regards & God bless,

Tried the generator yesterday when visiting Helen and Paul .... it would run for maybe 30 secs, then die. We are in the old workshop yard now, this will be home until I get the battery situation sorted and the engine sorted ..... and few of the other things sorted along the way. The levelling legs are all white wires, generally there is a number either printed on the wire or a number tag attached to the wire ..... couldn't see either on these wires .... but applying the park brake sorted the problem

Ran out of power from the Mazda batteries this morning, full cloud cover so it didn't get a chance to catch up, plus the inverter in the Mazda is one of those W7 3000w units and they have a big stand by current, then running into the Victron inverter so it acted as a battery charger to keep the lights on, a lot of unnecessary draw just wasting power. We are plugged into next doors water tank pump power point now, have to wait for him to return tomorrow to settle on a price per mth ...... hopefully these soduim ion batteries will be here by then so we can set up our power system again ..... We will swap out the 3000 Victron inverter for a 5000 and fit the 3000 to Brian's boat, his brand new in the box inverter was in the garden shed at the house so it burnt along with everything else .....

It will be interesting to see how those sodium ion batteries go. Obviously weight won't be a factor in a big ol' Winny.

Roughly the same weight as the 100Ah Winston cells, but double the capacity, 3.7kg for the Winston LYP 100Ah and 4.7kg for the Sodium ion 200Ah cells, so actually lighter to build a 200Ah battery .... well, on paper anyway, yet to see the discharge rate to get the 200Ah out of these sodium ion cells, but we will install 800Ah @ 12v nom. anyway, so they should do the job required. On paper, they claim to have a 4,000 cycle life .... if a cycle is the same as the Winston cells, from 100% SOC to 0% SOC, that's 11 yrs, I doubt we will ever cycle them that hard so ......
