Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

The other thing we have to be mindful of we are on tank water...
So what goes on the roof gets to our tanks.

Good arvo, gentle rain is falling and the fire has been lit. Waiting for a break so we can put the cow poo and the mushroom poo  into and around the fruit trees then top it off with the sugar cane on top.

A lot of those 30 second cleaners are very alkaline. Not good for drinking or paint work.

second that, did a granny flat at Margaret's old house, where her mother lived out her day, brought it from a green dingy, to bright white colourbond, but we did pressure wash it after the stuff had been on there for around 30 mins. If you follow up with a good polish using no.2 cut and polish, it will take that last layer off and leave a surface that not even water can collect on, the dirt just falls off or blows off in the wind.

Good morning.
We had a busy day, I done the reshuffle of the motorhome, van and ute they are all in the shade shed.
I finished the second of the raised beds... already now for planting.
We had the bore running most of the day watering all her gardens.
Cleaned the solar panels...😁
I programmed the remote for the new aircon...
We had a visit from a small black snake only about two and a half feet long.
Carol got a phone call from the hospital... they needed heaps of information about our place... regarding Carol's impending knee op, they needed heights of toilet, lounge,bed...and stuff like that..
Nothing planned for today yet.
Thanks for the response's about the moss...
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Morning all,

First sunny morning at Mt G. Golf today at the local with the locals. Looking forward to it. Not only golf but spending about 5 hours walking and talking with new people. One of the hidden highlights of golf, and probably lawn bowls etc. No wonder retirees play golf.... It's the social part that hooks you in.

Bernie, can you disconnect the down pipes? Anything you use will cause the mould to die and release its grip. And then will flush into the tanks.

Good morning everyone. Its a bit sunny, windy day here by the lake. Great day for doing the washing.
Didn't get much done yesty except catch up with an old workmate and have a cuppla cuppas.
I'm off to Pipers Creek today so I can look after Cyclone Jack, the 3yo grandson. All day tomorrow and tomorrow night. Should be fun. Will certainly be an experience.
I'll need the weekend to recover.
We plan on leaving here on Monday arvo, but more likely Tuesday morning and head home, to get some medical stuff sorted out. Well then head back down this way later in the month and do a bit of catching up with friends for a while.
Safe travels everybody.
Cheers
David
