Used the Ford to drag it backwards and forwards and backwards again, thing kept self steering and heading off the concrete, ended up tieing the steering wheel to the door pillar to make it go the way I wanted.
Once I'd cleared a big enough spot, I shuffled the Winnie till it was across the slab with the door facing the hedge/tree, put the piece of timber under the back levelling legs to gain the extra height so when the front legs were fully extended, the front wheels were off the ground ..... a requirement so Margaret can position the steering wheel in the desired position to support the phoe for game playing or You Tube watching while the hand hangs out the window with the rollie smoking away .... somehow this is considered not smoking inside

That was about the day consumed while Margaret and Brian got in some retail therapy that took until just on dark to complete

Yet to see what tomorrow brings, Margaret received some advice from a regular customer who in his previous life, was an insurance agent. Seems NRMA is attempting to pull a swifty (fancy that, and the ad says they are here to help) they are actually required to continue the liability insurance for a further 12 mths, pay the equivalent or 12 mths rent over and above the insured value, and pay for the demolition over and above the insured value .... luck I delayed getting the fence to replace the NRMA rental fence (that they have to pay for over and above the insured value because it is part of their liability requirements) if we had signed off before we travelled back to the Illawarra, they would have gotten away with it ......
