Dot n Helen, buy you must be up some pretty wicked stuff by now xxxx
Terry, you are so right and thankfully, there have been full days of not taking the dreaded endone and I will try to stick with that too. I remember the agony of shingles, so can understand the need to keep you not feeling it. Hope that disease can be eradicated too.
I did the torture session today, followed by lunch at an easily forgettable pub, except it was right next to the sara lea shop. Well the freezer is now well stocked with fancy stuff for the Christmas season. He does have a sweet tooth so there are a some apple pies and cheese cakes and a lot more sweet stuff. He will be happy and I can hear him begging to just cut a slice out of this packet, nobody will know...until whatever the treat in that packet has disappeared. He is good like that.
I am super tired,
so night all xxx

Dot, getting in plenty of zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. No doubt you need to catch up.xxxx
Helen, Thanks for the updates and hope you have a safe trip too. xxx
Not a lot happening here. We sat down with the contract for the lift and wrote up some questions to double check with the salesman and the company itself.
Then we wrote up an action plan for tomorrow, with several phone calls needed asap, the morning and half of the afternoon is torture treatment, followed by a progress meeting. So it will be a busy one.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, still being QT? ZZZZZZZ xxxx
Robert thanks.
Today the torture was pretty severe, but I survived it (just). Came home in time to have a quick visit from the lift man, all ok Then off to Progress. Boy, lots happening here.
I am still unable to drive, so his nibs is being Jeeves for a long time yet. He delivered me to progress and then came back for me later. Only to have to sit in the car in the rain for half an hour. He had his ipad to keep him occupied.
After dinner, we had a look into the back yard (spotlight from upstairs) to see what damage the torrential rains and super furious winds have done. There was a lot of foliage across the grass where it shouldn't be. His nibs went down to inspect and came back with a sort of happy report. A large branch has dropped off next door's liquid amber tree and fallen into our yard. It seems to have missed the caravan totally (lucky) but has finally floored our vintage hills hoist. Tomorrow will really see what the damage is, but if van is ok. the rest can be fixed.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Deborah, Fortunately the furious storm & big winds just missed us, looking at the map we appeared to be on the edge of same, we did have steady rain.
Shirley & Bruce.

Hi all getting in early
This morning we woke up to cloud thunder so Paul decided not to change the oil so we headed off toward Beachport. It's a beautiful port I could smell the lobster did not have won 100 dollars for. 1 a bit rich for me
Well dear friends. Hope you are all well or getting there

Dot, enjoy the zzzz while you can mate xxxx
Helen you sound like the trip has been good for you. A hundred dollars for a lobster? Let the Chinese pay that much, but bet they wont.
Shirley, you were so lucky. Our suburb is a bit of a leafy mess at the moment. Glad you missed it this time.
Robert, hope your rehab goes well and remember to keep up the pain relief for a while.
Today, I went down the yard to assess the damage. Our place is fine, even the colourbond fence is still standing up straight and tall. It now appears that about a quarter of the tree fell down and did a lot of damage to the tree. Our neighbour is away, so I sent her photos and we discussed a few options. She will be back on Thursday, so it can wait until then.
For some reason my computer is not talking to the phone, so I can't get you pics just yet. I will have another go tomorrow.
Because I was going down the stairs to get to the tree, I decided to spend some time in my shed. I had finished a splat bowl a few weeks ago, but it still felt like it was missing something. It is having another run through the kiln tonight with a few new "legs" and fancy bits added to it. Hopefully, tomorrow it will be ready to be shaped back into a bowl. I negotiated the downward travel on the stairs, but sent for a little red rav 4 to deliver me upstairs. It was just one step too far to climb up the stairs.
